Good luck finding what you need. The 3.5 air fryer by Emeril that was the TSV is perfect for my husband and I. It is super easy to use and clean. For many families a larger one will probably be the best choice. I hope you find what you need. Air fryers are so new most of my friends never heard of them. I watch a lot of QVC and HSN and they explain all the new products and have videos with the product that are very helpful. I do love the Air Fryer book by Meredith Lawrence as it tells cooking times that can be used for any air fryer as well as the beginning of the book has great suggestions and hints. Let us know-if you want to- what you find. Good luck. Sorry if I can across with the wrong answer for what you needed before.

I made Tator Tots and chicken wings. Rated a 10 by my husband. He is a picky eater and that is saying a lot. I made the chicken wings from frozen. I brushed the outside with a light coat of olive oil and put garlic powder and Buck's Seasoning on them. It took 30 minutes total cook time due to them being frozen. I shook the basket 3-4 times while cooking. They were crisp and delicious. The Tator Tots I did for 15 minutes and made about 2 cups full. They came out perfect also and I shook the basket 2 times while cooking them.I just cleaned the food basket with a soft new toothbrush and it cleaned up as easily as the holding basket did also. The drippings cleaned up easily. I was amazed at how much grease came out from chicken wings. Love this air fryer and give it an A+.

Merediths Air Fryer book is well worth the hints and tips alone with the recipes as a bonus. If you can able to get her book please do. She writes a book as nice as Marion Getz that writes for Wolf Gang Puck. Very easy to read and understand. I almost didn't get Meredith's book and it has helped me a few times already.

I want to add that I had no problem turning the dial or the timer on my machine. It is easy and maybe a few people on the reviews under the Air Fryer may have had theirs more tight than mine. It may be important to some buying one. I was very pleased on how it cleaned up. I did not spray anything on the food basket part as I wanted to see how non stick it was. Excellent. Just get a nice "soft bristle" toothbrush and soap and water. It is funny as it is my husband that has a list on what to buy and cook in this next. When he gave it a 10 I was shocked. I never get more than a 7 rating on some small appliances. I am so sorry Clem had a defective one.

I agree with @Nataliesgrammathat maybe the basket was too full. I only filled the basket with Tator Tots without overlapping them and they were perfect after I shook them about 3 times while cooking. Instead of shaking them take a non-stick utensil and move them so air is around them. maybe shaking them didn't move them enough. Just flip them over. Hope this works for you. We all have a learning curve on our new "toys".

I made regular french fries and Checker Rally fries for lunch and they were perfect. As long as you flip them once or twice and shake them they will all cook perfectly. I got the Checker Rally seasoned fries at Wal-Mart. They took about 15 minutes for the crispness we like. I also made 10 small chicken drummies ( the bag of chicken wings came as part drummies in the bag) and cooked them on 400 degrees for 30 minutes total. I put them in a ziplock bag with a tsp. of olive oil, garlic powder (not garlic salt) and Garlic Pepper. Then I added a little Panko crumbs to them after I took them out of the bag. I turned them over with silicone tongs instead of shaking the basket to brown them evenly during cooking. Using a soft toothbrush is my key to a quick cleaning of the basket holes. The only thing I notice on the nonstick is the top of where you slide the basket in and out has a small amount of it wore off. I think this is probably just normal. I only explained so much for new users to try and help them make a nice meal for their family.

It's pretty handy.

The fries were done around 10 minutes as I check them every 5 minutes from when I put them in. My husband wanted them done more as we had thicker ones in with the medium cut fries. His idea as he didn't know what ones he would like the most. I have Emeril's Air Fryer and it is 1400 watts. Anything you make will be to the person eating them preference and the time given for all foods has to be checked before that time so they don't get overdone. I keep notes on what I am making and the times we like. Thanks for the feedback. The only thing I

might change is get a bigger one but only if we see we use it enough. So far so good.

@CLEM Awesome. I hope you have good luck and we will look for your feedback and hints. I have been feeling bad your white one never came back in stock of Emeril's but as long as you got what you wanted is all that matters. Happy air drying!

Asking a question about the air fryers...you air dry your meat(chicken, pork, etc) then you air dry your fries or veggies...doesn't the meat get cold? I read some reviews and that is the main reason I didn't get this one...I don't like food sitting for 10-15 minutes or longer waiting for the sides. Any info will be appreciated

This is Air FRYERS not Air DRYERS. You must have read the comments wrong. This is not a dehydrator. It cooks like an oven does with heat. Hope this helps.
