This question is for MKR-NY.....this is probably going to sound like a very stupid question BUT when using the Perfect Cooker for boiling eggs, do you use cold water?

I used the Perfect Cooker to make Zatarain's Red Beans and Rice and it turned out perfect. No need to stand at the stove and stir.

Yes. I did. I used about 1/2 to 3/4 cup of cold water depending on how many eggs you put in it. I did 4 eggs and 1/2 cup of water and they were perfect. I believe I did 25 minutes as I was doing hard boiled. I absolutely love this Perfect Cooker. I made rice in it today. I do 1/2 cup of rice and 3/4 cup of water with 1 tsp. of butter. Set to rice setting and let it go. Perfect every time. I have made rice at least 10 times and it is always perfect. Hope your eggs turn out great for you.
