Where are the Keurigs????

Just saw Melissa Epps repping a candy company so thought that was strange. Then looked up Keurig coffeemakers and there are none listed. What happened???

I was wondering the same thing. Last week my Keurig died on me after 8 years. I looked here and there were none. I ended up to BBB and getting the K475 there.

I was just looking at mine and thinking about putting it in the trash! I gave up coffee and my kitchen is so small!!!

I wondered where they went, too...Keurigs was one of the Q's mainstays...we could count on a TSV often....did they have a falling out...I knew I should have bought a second one to keep on hand...

I suspect Keurig can't afford to give QVC the price deals they once did. Keurig is really hurting financially, plus - after QVC pushing nothing but the 2.0 machines, Keurig is now pretty much abandoning them and going back to their old machines - which can be bought dirt cheap in many places. Several other non-Keurig machines that use all K-cups are also out there, cheaper. And Keurig no longer has a "newest, bestest" machine to demo.

The Keurig Green Mountain coffee company was acquired by a private equity firm not too long ago, and the private investors might not, for one reason or another, want to include QVC as part of their business plan. The company owns a boatload of different coffee brands and seems to still be doing a good business in selling machines and coffee pods through many different retail outlets, from what I can see in stores and retail ads.

I ditched a big Keurig a long time ago but really do like and use the small single-cup model all the time. It hasn't failed yet, and I'll try to get another just like it if it does.

I had a large premium model for 7+ years, then downsized to the K250. Now am stuck with a restrictive machine and Keurig has changed their business tactics yet again, hanging those who bought 2.0 Keurigs out to dry. For that reason alone, the next time I need a new machine that uses K-cups it will likely not be a Keurig or Cuisinart machine. I have and use Freedom Clips but they don't last forever and when I've used my last one ... 😡

They are everywhere just not at QVC. Kohl's, BBB, Walmart, Amazon, Lowe's, Sam's Club and on and on. I think the market is saturated with them and you can get coupons and discounts.

Even Best Buy sells them as well as the high end kitchen stores that I've been in.

My Keurig also died after 8 years. I immediately looked on QVC for a replacement and was surprised not to find their usually huge selection. I went to BBB and wanted to purchase the red Keurig. After using several different coupons and getting another 20% off because I took the display ( the only way I could get red) my Keurig cost me $49.00. It all worked out for the best.

The fact that you can find them at great prices at so many places may be one reason Q doesn't offer them anymore. The 2.0 model is at closeout prices in several stores around here, I think because Keurig's misstep with the K-cup debacle killed their sales. I have a smaller multicup model that uses any brand--love my Kuerig.

I think a lot of people have realized that the coffee doesn't take that good either. I owned one of the original Keurigs (probably bought it around 2008). I loved the machine and probably had it for 5 years. It finally started leaking so I purchased the exact same model again (I think I bought it at Kohls) and it started leaking when it was only about a year old. I was going to buy a third Keurig, but by this time the company had phased out all the original models and were selling only the 2.0s. After reading negative review after negative review, I finally ended up buying a $40 Presto electric coffee percolator. Well, let me tell you. We didn't realize what we were missing! The coffee tasted so much better and it was hot! I never realized how long we had been drinking lukewarm coffee! Will never go back to Keurig. LIke many other companies who have initial success, they got greedy and their quality went way down. I recently read an article about their "cold" machine - the one that makes an individual cup of soda. You wouldn't need to be a high-paid marketing analyst to realize what a bad idea that was. When you can routinely buy an entire liter of soda for 99 cents, why on earth would anybody buy a machine that could make a glassful of soda at a time that is way more expensive than pre-mixed soda you can buy at the grocery store??!! Anyway, that venture for Keurig went so badly that I recently read that the company reimbursed the few people that bought this machine because Keurig stopped manufacturing the soda K-cups.

The fact that they are pushing the Ninja Coffee Bar on ITKWD this morning should say something.

I will not necessarily always buy a Keurig-branded machine, but I will always want to use a K-cup or pod. That will always be my personal preference. So, no Ninja or similar would interest me unless it could use K-cups *as well*, which the Ninja doesn't - ground coffee only.

I would have said "probably" Keurig is gone from QVC at the time the OP was written, but seeing the Ninja sold this morning has changed my mind to Keurig No More on QVC.

Keurig must be stepping up its game, because after not hearing from that company or having any contact with it in years, I got an email a few days ago about a new and improved rewards program that will go into effect in late October for "Keurig Club Members". Wasn't aware that I ever was a club member, and I suspect that if QVC and Keurig are no longer doing business, this is how the company is trying to make up for the loss--by reaching out to past customers.

(It's about time they realized that it's easier to keep an old customer than create a new one,which most businesses know and encourage all the time.)

I think if you've ever bought *anything* from their website and/or gave them your email address for registration or whatever, they consider you a "club member." I got some sample sizes and one box of something and never ordered anything else from the website. There are too many places to buy K-cups, b&m & online, legit and not, at MUCH lower prices than Keurig charges. Up to now, their typical special discount(!) has been 10-15% of prices inflated to start with. Who needs that?

I have an ancient Keurig (probably one of the first introduced) and love it but will not replace it if/when it dies as I personally don't want to be involved with K-Cups anymore. I bought it to help my mom make coffee for herself but that didn't work out as planned.

I think where Keurig lost their way was introducing those 2.0 machines where you could only use their approved k-cups and I think they are still paying for that but I did hear in the presentation of the Ninja coffee system David mentioned the Keurig (which I thought was odd since they were featuring the Ninja) so maybe they are re-configuring things and a new line of Keurigs will be introduced.
