This is not only the biggest takeover of an American company by a Chinese firm, but the first of a major U.S. consumer brand.</P> <P>News articles are asking the question how will this affect the brand seeing as how China will now control a major U.S. food producer? How do you all feel about it? Personally, I don't buy much if any Smithfield products but this may just herald the beginning of other of our food suppliers being owned by China.
