I like it with the crust kind of soft and soggy, with the cheese nice and melted again. Yummy!

I've been reheating pizza in a nonstick skillet or griddle for years. I loosely cover the pan with foil and heat the pizza for 5 minutes or so.

Preheating is unnecessary to me. The water and lid is not needed either as we prefer a crisp crust. Try my way, it is easier.

The method that I have found most pleasing is to set my countertop convection oven to 275F for 20 minutes, preheat, and put the piece or two of pizza on some aluminum foil. In it goes.

I've done the microwave heating in the way past and that was awful. I've cranked up the big oven and that just seemed wasteful.

So, using the smaller oven, at a kind of low temp, seems to work great and not use a lot of energy.

The pan method in the OP sounds great, too. Thanks!

I think the pizza tastes better after putting in the air fryer then it does when you first buy it. We always buy a large pizza so there is always plenty left. I only eat 1-2 pieces & DH usually eats 2. He likes to take it to work & reheat in the air fryer.

Hi FG! I do not cover it at all. Just a sheet of aluminum foil underneath.

Thanks for your thoughts for my boys. Ru just had his 6th birthday on the 22nd. Man, I just can't believe it! Tarz will be 19 in October. Time flies when you're gettin' old, eh?

I've heated up pizza in a skillet for ages. Works like a charm. Crispy crust; no soggy pizza.
