Will the Kuhn Rikon Pull & Chop work on meat

I was cutting up leftover cooked chicken breast to make a sandwich filling when It occurred to me this would be a good use of the Pull & Chop.

My question is: would the Pull & Chop work for this; how about leftover steak (mixed with mayo and touch of bbq sauce) or pork loin or chops? Would it chop small quantities of raw meats?

I love watching the demos but I still can't justify buying it for myself.

@pinks I went looking on the internet and didn't see anything about meat. I doubt that it's strong enough. I've bought several for myself and my daughter. I love it, it's quick and uncomplicated. It says you can even buy extra blades for it......I don't know.

Go here and watch some of the video's about it. You can get it other places too, so google it! Won't say much more

I don't think it would at all work on meats except the canned type...

On the demo they did chicken salad and he mentioned tuna salad. I just do vegetables. I adore this for helping me chop up things. In fact I got a second one since I don't want to be w/o one now. Now they give you a 2nd container and it says with lidS. So maybe 2, that would be great. Even one is ok, but I like the chopper gizmo. Steak may be to thick of a meat, not sure. I just haven't tried it yet.

Thanks to all for your input. I tried to use my immersion blender but it was not very succesful. It does look like a nifty gaget though and who knows I may buy it yet.

I've used my Pull & Chop numerous times to make chicken, turkey and ham salad, by cutting the meat into nice size chunks. I use it the most for chopping onions, as well as cabbage for slaw.

I personally would not not use this chopper to cut raw meat.

I have used it on cooked chicken with no problem. I love this little gadget. Use it several times a week. Get one, you will love it.

I have used it for cooked chicken , steak , and pork . It worked great. Just do not put too much at a time in. I use it this way sometimes to make fresh food for my small dogs and cat that are senior and have dental issues also.

If I were told I could only have one kitchen 'appliance' this would be my choice.

I love how finely you can chop celery and onions . As CM says you really do not have to add mayo to salad spreads.

In addition to the things already mentioned, it does a good job chopping nuts.

Well, I haven't tried it on units, (but it DOES do a great job with NUTS - just kidding @nomless), but it does NOT work with those larger meringue cookies. I was going to chop them to put on top of some fruit and yogurt but they were too big/hard so they went into the Vitamix. Otherwise, I use this gadget for most of what I need to have chopped - olives, tomatoes, hard boiled eggs, and yes, cooked chicken.

I tried using balogna once to make balogna salad and I did not like the results. DH uses it to make egg salad all the time and it does a great job for that. This is the only gadget I have ever considered getting a back up...that's how much I love it.

I would definitely not use it for raw meat because of the underside of the chopper top is a bit open. I'd think it can be used for cooked pork or beef, but it may go to mush and/or stringy instead of chopped pieces.
