      <description>&lt;P&gt;I enjoy watching cooking shows (not the reality competition shows but the traditional how-to type), and&amp;nbsp;there is one thing that grosses me out to no end: &amp;nbsp;when chefs&amp;nbsp;dig into&amp;nbsp;raw food while they have rings on their fingers.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For example, wearing a wedding set while hand mixing meatloaf mix with raw meat and egg, etc. &amp;nbsp;Or &amp;nbsp;while breading raw chicken. &amp;nbsp;All I can think about is how gross that is, both from whatever germs are on the ring getting into the food, and also who knows what from raw meat will get into the tiny crevices on the jewelry and multiply in there. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I realize I will never be eating this food, so I guess it shouldn't bother me, but WHY not just take them off? Some of them do, or don't wear rings at all on the show, but I see it many times...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ok now I feel better&amp;nbsp;&lt;img id="smileytongue" class="emoticon emoticon-smileytongue" src="https://community.qvc.com/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.png" alt="Smiley Tongue" title="Smiley Tongue" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I do not ever take off my wedding ring. It is a very thin plain gold band with a millgrain edge. I wear it when cooking and at all times. I do hardly ever wear my engagement ring because I like to keep it clean and sparkly.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I too, cannot stand to see someone plate a meal, using his hands. &amp;nbsp;I would not want to eat it. &amp;nbsp;Also, when someone wearing gloves is touching things in &amp;nbsp;a deli area, say, &amp;amp; then proceeds to slice meat or cheese, how have the gloves prevented possible contamination? &amp;nbsp;My DH says I'm too fussy.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

And double dipping sometimes when he's tastin on air. &amp;nbsp;I do like watching him though.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I agree.&amp;nbsp; Not only is it distracting, but doesn't look very appetizing.&amp;nbsp; On a lighter note, it actually makes me laugh on some of the home improvement shows on HGTV where they are decked out in nice clothing and tons of jewelry and are doing something like laying tile.&amp;nbsp; Or, painting.&amp;nbsp; Or, cutting wood on a table saw.&amp;nbsp; LOL&amp;nbsp; Ridiculous!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
