What Do You Call Those Gizmos

What are those 'gadgets' that can spiral a zucchini or a squash so that it looks and cooks like pasta? I am in the market for one but don't know what it's called exactly.

The ones that look like giant pencil sharpeners are NOT good or easy to use.

I own the "Vegetti" (not the slim model) and I really like it. Wally's has the "Pro" Vegetti for around 20 and it has all the attachments.

This is the one I purchased from the Southern channel, @Love Roses. Just used it again last night for zucchini "pasta" with Bourbon Chicken over it. Swoon. So much easier than the handheld one. Blades for small and large spirals, as well as ribbons. The blade discs stay right onboard, too. Small for those of us with kitchen real estate issues. $19.95 + $3.95 S&H. Looks like it's sold out right now, but I'm sure they'll be getting it back in stock soon as it was so popular. HTH's

I bought one of these from Evine, put it away for awhile, then I couldn't figure out how to work it. Sold it at a local auction. Perhaps I'll try the HSN one next. It looks idiot proof.

It must be, @depglass . Having great success with it here!

Just cut your zucchini (or other vegetable choice) into 2" lengths, select which blade you want to use, pop it in and screw it down with the finger holes provided. Place your zucchini in the center. Pop the top on and turn it to screw it down (spring loaded). Turn the handle clockwise. Done.

I've used mine for curly fries (both sweet potatoes and Russet), and it works great for that, too. I had a handheld spiralizer first, and this one's much easier and does a better job IMO.
