I just ordered the rice cooker. I figured for 20 dollars why not. It got really good reviews.

@BlingQueen022 - a bunch of us own that little rice cooker. It's been a TS several times at the price you just paid.

If you get a chance do a search in the forum for the older threads. Lots of recipes shared & helpful hints on usage. Enjoy!

The cookbook is really good & highly recommended

Hi there @Chi-town girl. Thanks for your post. I love kitchen gadgets and thought this would be a good one to get. I guess the days of Minute Rice is gone hahahahahahaha. I use my Wolfgang mini rice cooker everyday for organic oatmeal. I have Marian's cookbook also and have made many great things. I have made oatmeal and carried it to my office for breakfast! I may get a second one. It's that good!

The book is great. I would love to see Marian do an updated/2nd edition, with more ideas. My mini rice cooker gets a workout frequently. It's fun experimenting with what to throw in!

Was it my TV or did they bleep out a lot of what he said ? sound went out on my Tv he was still talking, but, I'll be switched if I knew what he said. LOL

I got his schedule see if I can find it.

I wasn't watching Puck earlier, but here I lose sound from HSN quite often. It's not specific to any particular vendor(s).

Not just your TV (unless you were watching with me!). I find that happens a lot when Wolf is on. The censors get nervous! I ALMOST got the TS, but I JUST replaced my previous WP oven this week with a new toaster oven. The WG one still worked, but the door wouldn't cose all the way, so I got a different one. I am tempted to get another rice cooker - even though I have 2 already. I use it every week - often just to hard boil eggs for the week.

All of a sudden, the sound cut off for a few seconds. I thought there was a technical difficulty in the broadcast. I doubt it was your tv, sharke. Or.... maybe mine is messed up, too? ;-)

I have never noticed QVC cutting the sound off but to be honest I don't watch them as much as I once did. Both HSN and Evine will have periods of silence when I guess vendors go off script so to speak.

And whenever my beloved Wolfie is on you can pretty much count on several periods of radio silence . . .

That's what I was afraid of. Sometimes , he does so many shows he gets wore out and starts to loosen up little to much. LOL

He cracks me up !

Oh @SharkE I truly do look forward to the weekends when he is featured. Even though all vendors on all channels make the same dishes throughout their visit (which I fully understand as they want to ensure the product comes out as planned for the presentation), somehow he manages to make it completely entertaining each time (at least for me).

@Gokat Hi there Gokat. I'm happy to read such good reviews. I did order the cookbook also. I'm anxious to get this. I like the fact that's not only good for cooking rice, but you can put anything in it too. I can't wait to try it out. Thanks for your post.

Oh @BlingQueen022 I echo @Gokat in purchasing the cookbook as it will add so much value to a simple rice cooker!

To be honest, I was a tad cranky that I had to pay that much for a cookbook but I am now so glad I did as it is amazing what else you can make in that wonderful little machine!

@Gokat That Burbon Chicken sounds great. I will definately look at that one first. I'm excited about getting it now. Never thought I'd get excited about a rice cooker, lol. It sounds fabulous. I will post back after I use it. I hope it arrives in a speedy fashion.

I just purchased the RC and recipe book. Hope I get some good use out if it. Burbon Chicken sounds interesting.
