The 45 Best Frozen Foods at Trader Joe’s

I don't know whose list it is, but I went through the slideshow and came up with a few new items (to me) that I'd like to try.

I have had quite a few of them nearly half, I think. I'm going to have to try some more.

DH really loves TJ Meat lasagna.

Lots of those looked great! Every now and then my husband stops by TJ's and he will bring me home a bag of milk chocolate covered pretzels.

I get a couple of their supplement-type items but I just get them on Amazon. Twice a year, when I go to the dentist, I'm out that way so I'll have to remember to stop in next time. That's in August. Maybe I should set a diary. hehe - my memory is so bad now.

I was going to stop at Trader Joes on Sunday but was too lazy and drove on by. The best thing about them is that if you buy something and don't like how it tastes you can return it. A salesperson told me that. They have a lot of unusual products and do that so people will try them. I like their chicken chili in the can and their candied ginger. I once ate an entire apple pie of theirs with white wine. I hate going to the doctor's and had lost six pounds worrying about going for my check-up. That was my reward that I picked up on the way home.

Love Trader 'Joe's and lucky to have one very close, we do not like curry so that leaves out a lot of the Indian food

The Mandarin chicken is great, as well as the gozya, low the mini breakfast quiches and low fat mac and cheese

I've never tried riced cauliflower and I'd really like to. IT'S HERE!

OK, three new items on my TJoe's list that we have never tired before:

1. Cauliflower rice.

2. Frozen falafel (I love falafel)

3. Whole green figs. I don't think I've tried them but I love figs, especially with a strip of prosciutto around a piece. Usually I get the black Mission figs.

Thanks for starting this thread @Noel7 as there are several things I have never seen. I know some things are at times regional but this has reminded me to look a bit closer next time I am in the frozen food aisle as they look delicious . . . yum!

I wanted to get this right for you, so I tracked down the accepted definition:

"A Middle Eastern dish of spiced mashed chickpeas or other pulses formed into balls or fritters and deep-fried, usually eaten with or in pita bread."

Here's how it's usually served:

Usually with hummus.

I love finding out about frozen favorites there. I almost always make dinner from scratch and I love it when I find something I don't have to work on

We tried the frozen chicken teriyaki recently and really enjoyed that.

Oh @Noel7 I love their is it called Mandarin Chicken(?) which is delicious and have tried many of their variety's of their what I call "bag 'o chicken" meals which have always been outstanding (I think at one time they had a BBQ Chicken one and the Teriyaki one you enjoyed).

In case no one noticed, I am an completely unabashed fan of both Trader Joe's and also Aldi's. Good food at good prices!

I saw so many yummy-looking items. That Pannetone french toast looked amazing, and those flat bread pizzas looked really good. Ohh...let's just say that everything looked good!
