COPPER CHEF PAN?

DOES ANYONE HAVE THE ONE THAT ERIC THEISS USES ON THE INFOMERCIAL? ANY SUGGESTIONS, IDEAS ADVICE ON PURCHASE!

My Cooks Essentials are shiny and pristine on the outside but starting to peel away on the non-stick edges. I guess the set is about 5-7 years old. I'm thinking I should buy individual pieces instead of a set. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

I saw part of the infomercial for the copper pan too. It looked interesting! Have to check if it is on the Q. I am a bit leery though.

Just sent back my little green multi pot Kuhn Rikon Mark Charles. After only two months, the nonstick bottom chipped off in patches. I babied that pot. I should have believed the reviews but I didn't think it would happen to me...😤

I brought a set of All-Clad pans about 15 years,and have added pieces to my collect. The Q offers a set K44189. If a person wants a 8 QT stock pot. The cost is less to buy a set. LOL, the All-Clad lids will fit the Update International pans. The pots and pans are standard sizes.
A budget friendly brand is Update International SuperSteel Cookware(SFC-08). This item is a non-stick 8" frying pan. This company sells pots and pans of various sizes. I have owned an used a saucepan most days for 7 years. (SSP-4). Amazon is a nice place to look for these products.

I saw part of that infomercial this morning and my first thought was that the pan didn't look like a true copper pan. It looked like it had an enameled copper-colored finish. You could do the same things with a large chicken-fryer with lid and a rack. Why would you need Eric's pan?

Kachina624, I was thinking the same thing. I suppose, if someone doesn't already have a pan like that, buying it might be good. I already have a big round stainless steel chicken fryer pan by WP, which I was lucky to find at a thrift store. Otherwise, I miiiiiight consider the copper chef pan.

I can relate to your disappointment.....I baby my kitchen items also. I use the appropriate spoons etc. I guess I'm getting old when I say, "they just don't make things like they used to......." Thanks for your reply.

Thanks for your suggestion. Don't do much frying and don't own a chicken fryer! What caused me to PAUSE on the channel with infomercial for Copper Chef was the size (depth) and shape of the pan. As I said, only some of my non-stick need replacing, will continue on my quest.

I love the shape of the Copper pan! My counter top ceramic 6 burner jenn-air stove gets a little crowded with the different shaped pans

I'm surprised QVC hasn't had the Copper Chef pan as a TSV. Maybe it has to be on informercial for a period of time before it can go to other retailers at a discount. I hope they do have it as a TSV eventually. It looks interesting.

Geri S, I like the shape and depth of that pan as well. But I just wouldn't be able to use it right now. Thanks on the congrats on my thrifty find. I had to Google what a 6-burner jenn-air stove is, as I hadn't heard of one before you posted. Whoa, Nelly! Those look NICE. Congrats to *you*, and enjoy it.

Topaz Gem, I wonder when QVC might start selling this pan, too. After all, Eric Theiss has been on with the Power Pressure Cooker, so, I am wondering if he'll make it over to the channel with the Copper Chef pan.
