I am fascinated by that but yikes the pods are expensive! Do you have one? What do you think?

I had a Sodastream, and while I enjoyed it for a time, I got bored with the flavors and eventually tossed it.

The KKold is better in that you don't need to pre-carbonate a liter or half liter and then add the syrup, it's all-in-one and already cold, single serving.

But - for the amount of money the KK costs, I would want a LOT more choices of beverage than they currently have, specifically DIET or lower-calorie. With Sodastream, even their regular syrups were much lower calorie than regular canned sodas.

Right now, this might be something to own if you were a Coke fanatic and never drank anything else. I used to drink Coke and Pepsi interchangeably, but now prefer Pepsi, so that's one reason I have no interest.

The other reason is the price! I mean, seriously - close to $400 most places, About $275 on Amazon. I paid $200 (less the BBB discount) for my first Keurig (less for the K250), and that was really pushing it for me. The most I would ever pay for this, *if* I wanted it, would be that same $200. But right now it isn't worth buying as far as choice even if you disregard the price.

biggest waste of money. I do not drink soda and I can buy water for free through the fawcet in my home. so I keep my three hundred dollars thanks.

Ridiculously expensive. I'm back on the less pop/no pop bandwagon and back to drinking more iced tea and water. But even if I wasn't, one could buy a whole lotta cases of canned pop for $300, let alone whatever the cost is for replacement pods!

I almost never drink soda, and even if I did I think the Kold machine is ridiculously expensive. I also wonder if the Coke really tastes like Coke in a can.

Its way too big and way too expensive...I don't even know how much the pods cost...I only drink diet coke....for the amount I drink of it I am sure it is cheaper to buy the bottles at the store...

I would be curious to know if it really tastes like Coke but not curious enough to buy it...lol....

Maybe it's so expensive because consuming soda is now one of the seven deadly sins. Sin is almost always expensive one way or the other. . . LOL!!!

Probably. I wouldn't turn it down if someone gave me one. They are way to expensive for the pods tho. They sold out so someone wanted them.

All that cost, I can just buy the little bit of soda we consume for many, many years.

I haven't seen one yet, but it looks huge on tv. The only place I could see this as useful is an office or someplace like that. A bigger variety than a machine, and smaller space. Put your dollar in the bucket and pick what you want.

Companies are constantly trying to re-invent the wheel. On Christmas day of 2015 as I was registering my new Keurig, I found this machine on their website and watched a video and it was not compelling. There is nothing remotely interesting nor appealing about this product. If i read correctly, each drink comes out to $1.00 and if you equate that into a 2 liter, you are paying a ridiculous price. Soda is not expensive to begin with considering most retail stores will have them on sale for $1.00 or $1.25 a piece varying week to week from the big companies. Storing 2 liters is not a difficult proposition. Recycling the used bottle is not difficult either. Hundreds of dollars for an item that will end up COSTING you money in the long run?

I think it looks interesting as I drink Diet Coke since Pepsi put that awful sucralose in theirs. I just can't afford it. And before I hear it I would rather have aspartame. It has

not bothered me in all these years as it did not bother my dad who was 90 when he passed and still had a very clear mind. Sucralose gave me terrible stomach pains.
