Wow QVC has All-Clad now

That 13 piece tri-ply set is pretty good. It's nearly the same set at the same price as Williams Sonoma has since they have the lasagna and hot mitts as a free bonus. I'm not buying it as I have All-Clad d5 but it's a nice set if anyone needs a new set of tri-ply.

It looks like a great set for someone who wants very high-quality cookware pieces that will last forever.

I just hope that it doesn't end up garnering a bunch of bad reviews from people used to only using nonstick.

I wonder if it's really the same as what W-S has or if it's a "made for QVC" set of lesser quality.

I am so excited QVC has All-Clad!!! My husband and I treated outselves to a set of All-Clad cookware for Christmas. I am ***amazed*** at how nice and even the food cooks. We were surprised at how easily it cleans up! We were a little concerned that food would stick since it isn't coated with Teflon or something. Nothing sticks, it cleans up so quickly and easily! The cookware is nice and heavy, you can feel the quality. We also bought an All-Clad slow cooker that is equally amazing. We LOVE All-Clad!!!

All-Clad try-ply is sold by many different stores.

Some things will stick, especially if the person has never cooked with clad stainless before. Let's not fool anyone here. There is a method to successfully cooking in bare stainless. It needs to be preheated and you need to add oil or a fat if dry cookinga food with no natural fat. You can't use it like teflon pans and just dump food in a cold pan and let it all heat up together, unless you want it to stick.

I think that for those who love cooking, these pans would be perfect. But I do think it's wise also to have at least a couple of nonstick pans. I would say at a minimum -- a nonstick saucepan and a nonstick skillet. There are just some foods that are so much easier to cook in nonstick.

Well I don't own any nonstick except for on some baking pans. I don't need nonstick for eggs.

Bravo!!!This is how I purchsed my complete set and extra pieces about ten years ago. They are the same a s when they where purchased...LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!! These are the BENTLEY of cookware.

You will receive the same quality from All-Clad whether the cookware is sold at W-S or QVC. This is a great price for the set.

I don't either. I use a bit of vegetable spray and nothing sticks. I love All-Clad a lot and wouldn't use anything else. The configuration of today's set was great.

I used to go through sets of cookware about every few years. I wasn't happy with any of the popular brands. Until I met All Clad!! I am in love! We invested in a complete set years ago and its all I've used. I know its the only cookware I will ever use. But I do, every few months, buy myself a small non-stick pan to cook my daily dose of eggs in. The salesperson gave me that tip. I buy my All Clad at BB&B so I can at least get 20%!

I found all my All Clad pieces at Marshalls/Home Goods and some even on clearance.

It's the best.

I wondered this as well. All manufacturers have at least a couple of grades of cookware, and I wondered if it was the same here. And if anyone is going to push the 'good' line of a 'good, better, best' variety, it would be Q. They have been notorious in the past for carrying a version of a famous manufacturer, that isn't the same as that company's high end products.

And for people who have had theirs for many years (say at least 10) and have seen or purchased anything very recently, how does the quality compare?

I don't know of a single manufacturer who hasn't cheapened their product over time to keep the prices competitive. If this brand hasn't, maybe I'll pick up one piece and try it, even though my vintage Revere Ware and Farberware do me just fine. I'm always looking to try something new if it is really good.

All-Clad has several lines of cookware, of which their SS Tri-Ply is one. The set you see here is the same product that you'll see on their site and at other retailers. The price for the TSV was excellent in comparison. (see WS's set).

I am glad QVC is changing some of their "product" lines.

I saw a Cuisinart food processor the other day.

Wonder if Laura of Kitchen Aid was gritting her teeth !!! LOL
