I brought a set of these pots about twenty years ago. At least ten and paid around 200 if that much FOR ALL.. I went and looked at the covers and they all have the two digest and have FRANCE UNDERTHE LID. The one pot on now is $314' Mine like this is the same amount of quarts, but lower and wider. I kept this size and the two quart and four qt., a couple of the skillest, but gave the rest to my son the cook. I am alone now and don,t cook like I used to, so no need for many pots. CAN,T BELIEVE THE PRICE FOR ONE POT. IMO NOT WORTH IT.

I bought a set about 30 years ago and it was about $159 (and that included the dutch oven!)!! In my opinion well worth it..I just wish now I had gotten a different color (I got a dark hunter green back then) Had I known it would last a lifetime, I would have...

I bought my Mom set 40 years ago, and she had the old style kind that you screwed the wooden handle into the saucepan and removed it when you wanted to put it in the oven!!!! sadly, her set was a worse color..dark brown (hey it was the '70's!!!)
