We purchased the FoodSaver flip model months ago and is one of the most used appliances in the kitchen. The best accessory to the unit has been the resuable bags. They are much more convenient than heat sealed bags. The only time I use the heat seal is for longer term storage. The day to day items like cheese, onions, peppers, and leftovers for the week are done in the reuseable bags. Making one portion meals for just my wife and I just doesn't happen so FoodSaver saves us huncreds of dollars and the convenience of not having to cook a full meal every night. Just go to the freezer and pick out one of those leftover bags. We buy the family size pizza from "P..M" eat half and bag the other half for another time. Why throw away a heat seal bag, when you can use a reusable bag?

Would be nice for you new buyers if David would offer these bags with their next demo. What do ya think?

I do not have that model FoodSaver, but I see how those bags would be convenient.

For others without that model, or those looking to save a bit of money on the heat seal bags, check out Amazon. One can get generic vacuum seal bags at a substantial savings.

I frequentoy buy 100 to 150 for around $20 or so to utilize with my vacuum sealer and my sous vide machine. Even though my FoodSaver came with multiple rolls of bags to customize as needed, I prefer the inconvenience of the precut bags, so I always have a lot on hand.
