I'm not sure what shopping channel either the Q or HSN but the kringles you are ordering from Racine Kringle are previously frozen. Even in the grocery stores and Sam's they pull them out of the cartons and thaw.....if anyone wants a kringle for the holidays, call O&H in Racine, WI and order from them. Nothing compares to a flakey kringle vs a compact dough kringle. Just a FYI. I'm sure you can google for the number.

Around the holidays, trader joes has them,way cheaper,and so good.

I have never in my life seen or heard of a "Kringle" except for Kris of course! LOL!!!

Is it sort of like a Kolachi? We have several Kolachi festivals in Oklahoma, at Prague and I think at Yukon as well.

It's a pastry. The grocery store here has then on sale for $5.95.

I live in Racine, and they are so much better fresh and ordered directly from O &H Bakery. Another good bakery to try here in Racine is Bendtsen's, their crust is carmelized and flaky-so good!!!!!!!

OMG....I discovered this last year at Trader Joe's. Never had it, didn't know what it was. It was soooooo good, don't know if it will be allowed back in the house again. The price was $16 and it was VERY large.

Kringle is a Danish pastry which is why they're popular in Wisconsin. I used to buy some every Christmas for a friend whose mom was a Dane.

OMG LOVE O&H Kringle. Get them every year for Chistmas. Usually get about 5 and store in the freezer.

I live just south of you, Illinois/Wisconsin border. Won't get any from the grocery store as they do not compare.

I actually have a Danish bakery in my neighborhood that makes kringles - but they are different than the Trader Joe's kringles - both flakier and drier. I preferred the TJ's kringle.

My Dad grew up in Racine, Wi. He used to always tell me that they made the most wonderful Danish desserts (and also very good kielbasa type meats)

I think I'll google that number and order a Kringle! :-)

Truthfully, I don't think you will be sorry. They are wonderful. I think these are probably the best commercial kringles in the US, IMO. If you go on their site, and read about making kringles, it is amazing how many days it tkes to make them. There are dozens of layers,!

I like them all but am a fan of Bendtsten's beause they seem to have less icing. I do really like the cinnamon flavor from O&H. The new store and bakery is close to my mother's.

I love the Kringles that Trader Joes carries at holidays. Had the almond one last year around Christmas, and a pecan one this past Easter. Both delicious. I buy several, cut them up and freeze and they are wonderful to pull out as needed. This year I will buy even more! Of course, I surely don't need the extra calories but I can't resist ..ha ha.

Darn - did not know that TJ carrries them during Easter. I learned about them on the boards last year and tried the almond one during Christmas. Which prompted me to go get another one a week later. Delicious. I have to try the pumpkin one this year. I was too late for the pumplin last year.

A made in America treat. Some of the tour bus companies in my area offer trips to the Racine, WI kringle factory.

TJs had Pumpkin Spice JoJos and K Cups too - I stocked up.
