This is pure speculation, but I imagine that the companies that Q favors might have a contract (paying them extra) with the companies to promote them on television...?

Hi, I wondered that also. I have actually purchased items that have never appeared on air by doing searches. A couple reasons I am thinking is the company that produces the item cannot supply the volume that an on air presentation would require, and the second would be that Q management does not see it as being a mega seller.

I think the operative word in the OP is "Watch." I just checked out the SD skillets and while I would watch, I wouldn't buy at anywhere near those prices. My years of committing to that kind of cooking device have passed. I think the last two skillets I bought cost 3.99 each; they were those tiny one-egg is all that fits size.

I do know, though, that David has a huge audience that watches and shops, and if anyone can convince watchers to buy, he's the one to do it. In fact, he may yet get me to buy the Vitamix even though I know I truly do not need it! That's certainly why they keep right on showing it, of course!

I have said this before....I wish the Q. would periodically take a 24 hour day and sell all the odds and ends on their website that never sees the light of day....

It would be like quick sales if they didn't have a lot of quantity...sell what they have and move to the next item...no vendors needed....

I think those would certainly be fun days and totally different from the ususal stuff that is sold....

I know I have bought many items that I did a search for and found right here...even surprised me that the Q. had it hidden on site...

I'm satisfied with my Sam's Club skillets called 'Chef' something or the other the only kind they carry. Would be nice to see a demo , though, of the Swiss Diamond products.

Guess David is on va K again. Mary Beth is Ok.

I happen to have 2 Swiss Diamond Skillets, a large one and a smaller one, I think one is a 12" and the other is an 8" and I don't think they're worth the money. I don't even use them that often and the cooking surfaces are scratched and slightly, well pitted is the only word I can think of to describe the marks, kind of tiny chip marks. And the larger one is pretty darn heavy compared to my other skillets. The reason they appealed to me when I bought them is because the whole cooking surface is flat as opposed to some other brands where even though it claims to be a 12" skillet the sides slope so much that you don't get the whole 12" cooking surface. I also thought at the time I forked over so much money for them they'd hold up a lot better than less expensive ones but that isn't the case. The best quality ones I have that still look new are the Emeril LaGasse (sp?) ones.

One of the best all over creams I've ever tried is called Marine Cream and comes in a black jar. I'd never seen or heard of it before..... I got a sample in one of the sample packs I bought! It hydrates and reduces the fine lines for a long time. Hydrates well, not sticky and I just fell in love with. Unfortunately it's $119 (or close)..... I saw it a day or two ago on 3 easy pays and hesitated, decided to buy it this morning and the easy pays were gone!

Needless to say, this cream needs exposure... I think it will be a runaway hit. Over the 20+ years I've shopped on the Q I've tried them all and THIS cream impressed me the most!

Yes, QVC definitely needs to trot these products out for us.... let us buy it out and on to the the next product!
