She said she had broken rib(s) and was taking off. Everybody on there seems to be having medical issues.

Oh my goodness that is painful. They certainly do have a lot going on with their hosts. Sorry to hear when any of them are ill.

I had just turned on the TV for David and caught her saying "I was suppose to go to Cal. for my class reunion, but, now with these broken ribs I'm staying home and taking off for awhile". She's had knee problems, also, in the past. think she had a replacement done.

Bless her heart, I wish her well.... and according to my son, cracked or broken ribs are very painful and there's not much they can do for them....

Hey Sharke. I consider Jill still young. Not ready for the old folks' home yet,

and I think "young" people can break a rib too.

A few years ago I fell off of a small step stool and broke a few ribs and unfortunately punctured my lung. I spent five days in the hospital with a tube in my lung to keep it inflated. It was no picnic.

I'm so sorry that Jill injured herself but thank heavens she didn't do what I did.

Get well soon Jill. You are my favorite host.

Mercy ! I was just walking through my formal dining room and had one of those unexpected ,hasty extreme sneezes happen that you can hardly contain yourself from and I broke mine ! I felt and heard it at the same time and knew what it was although I had no prior broken bones. The pain that seared across my back ribs was almost unbearable ( I can still remember it !) . I went to the ER and they did x-rays, meds, etc.

What an unexpected night that turned out to be ! I was sore almost 8 months later still.

I heard Jill say she wasn't supposed to be walking much, but I missed the first forty-minutes so didn't know about her ribs.

Sorry she had to miss her class reunion, because the last thing I heard her say was she would be taking off some time to go out to her reunion.
