topic Waffle Maker in Kitchen

Reading the thread about indoor grills reminded me to ask if there are any waffle makers that have removable plates for cleaning? The Cuisinart Griddler has ones you can buy seperately, but is there one that just comes that way? I have a Waring Pro, that I used for a while, using "No Cooking Spray" (as discussed on another thread) just oil, but then the waffles started to stick. This makes it a pain to clean, plus I think the oil after a while forms a sticky residue.
