Hi I was curious, am using the Cooks Essentials 5 quart pressure cooker and so far I have made really great tasting bean soups, and pulled bbq chicken. Does anyone know if the gasket has to be put in a certain way as I noticed one side has some small half oval cuts into the edge and the other side is smooth. After I cleaned the lid and the gasket I could not remember if it needed to be put back a certain way or does it matter as long as the gasket is secure inside the lid? Thanks in advance!
