I agree, mjmm. I don't necessarily mind trivia but the questions and the choices are so random, they seem silly. Who would really know if it were 10, 15, or 20 billion potatoes grown in Idaho last year? Maybe if the questions and choices were less random...

I like them even when they're crazy facts, maybe especially when they're crazy. Sometimes I'm totally amazed that anyone collects the information, let alone that someone else knows it.

I like it. It's not like they get taken into the back an beaten or have their pay docked if they give a wrong answer.

I like it. It is done in fun. I don't think any vendor is embarrassed or offended. I think some love the challenge. And what is life if you aren't constantly learning something new.

I think most vendors don't seem to mind. The only one I feel minds a bit is Mark Charles. But that may be only in my head.

AMEN!!!! David delights in making his guests and vendors look stupid when they can't answer one of his idiotic trivia questions. No one more so than Mark Charles. I wish to God Mark would turn the tables and ask David a question he'd never be able to answer. He HATES it when he is exposed as being culinary ignorant of any topic. He has probably issued an edict to everyone---"no one is to ask me a question that I don't know the answer to".

Come on! It's multiple choice! It's not like they actually have to come up with an original answer..I like to hear the answers, but I like trivia in general...

Make sure the answer has bacon or mac and cheese in it! I think David does a great job considering he has to keep us interested in kitchen items 6 to 8 hours every week. I think the trivia allows the vendors to let their personalities shine through instead of just the hard sell.
