I can’t post a picture because I am on mobile. Have you guys seen these. You get 16 pods of cleansing balm. Each pod is single use. Perfect t for travel. They are 15. You just throw away the pod after each use. For someone that doesn’t wear makeup everyday I really like this concept. Not having to stick my finger or anything in a jar. I saw these and I think I am going to get these instead of the Elemis. I assume as box of 16 will last me a few months. This cleansing balm has great reviews.

It's convenient but I would not buy them b/c they just contribute to more plastic waste.

I don't have any issues with jars. Whenever I use something out of a jar, I use a spatula to scoop out what I need so there's no worry of contamination.

The plastic may be recyclable. I won’t know until I get them if they have a number on them. We recycle almost everything. The tiny foil top would be the only thing and it’s so little.

A cleansing balm is exactly like it says. A balm to remove makeup. You put it on and get it to an oil consistency then add water to emulsify. They are pretty thick.

It's a pass for me too. For only a couple of dollars more you get twice as much product by purchasing a 3.38 oz. jar. Banilla Co. Clean It Zero is my go to cleansing balm. At home, I use a cleansing oil every night, but the balm is easier for travel. I have a small silicone jar that I refill as needed and it holds enough balm for multiple trips. It doesn't take up much room at all in my skincare case. A handful of single pods would actually require more space.

Plastic recycling is, for the most part, an unsuccessful solution for the world of plastic pollution. I try to minimize using it the best I can. It's hard though but when there are other options then I'll take those instead even if those might be a bit of an inconvenience. Baby steps might not mean much on a global scale but to me every step counts no matter how small. Just one less little piece of plastic. Sorry for my sidetrack.

I like a cleansing balm. I usually use it in the morning. In the evening I use it as my first cleanse. Right now am using Tatcha and I like it. I tried the rms but the scent was too strong for me. I am almost finished with the Tatcha so I ordered the Gatineau. The consistency was slightly different than the other cleansing balms. We'll see.

Since I don't wear heavy waterproof or long-wear makeup where that would need something like a heavy-hitting cleansing balm, I like to use micellar water instead. Micellar water removes most types of light makeup, skincare products and also waterproof eye makeup and sunscreen. Just do a second cleanse to remove the residue left behind from the micellar water and I'm good to go.

Yes until I get them I won’t be sure. We take our stuff to a recycling center because it’s they take it for free while the trash company charges a ton. Its very small tiny piece I am not that worried. You could litterly cut it up into super tiny pieces. It’s only the size of a nickel probably. It does say it’s recyclable if your area takes it. We barely have any trash because everything gets recycled. We do our part.

I have dexterity issues so I have fumbling with anything in a jar.
