Anyone Try LUXE Brand Makeup?

Good morning, all.

Anyone try the LUXE foundation supposedly for mature skin? I've been meaning to get to Sephora to check it out. It's available on Amazon, but I want to see in and test it in person before I buy. I think Sephora can give a small sample if you ask. I'll ask! Wondering if anyone has tried it.

I'm wondering about that foundation myself -

Just tried liquid foundations from 2 different companies, and none of them were the correct shade, so annoying.

I don't generally like liquids for mature skin, and haven't found one that I like at all.

I've been using a powder foundation and also Laura Geller's baked foundation which is great because there is no shade problem.

I find cream foundations to be the worst!

You and I are identical!! Liquids look horrible on me. Just tossed an expensive one that I must've "tried" three or four times, but it just wasn't a good look. I, too, have used the LG Balance & Brighten. I like it, not love it. Stocked up on a few of the Fenty Filt'r Powder Foundation that are no longer at Sephora. Twenty bucks, not a huge splurge.

Butttt - I went to Sephora yesterday hoping to find the Luxe foundation that I saw on FB. They don't carry it in-store. I was so disappointed. I had gone to two smaller Sephora's and was told the regular stores had it. Imagine my disappointment yesterday when they said it's available online, but not on Sephora's site. All I wanted to do was look at it and see if a color or the formulation would work. Left there empty-handed. Sigh. I'm too tired of ordering makeup online only to be disappointed and have to return. I no longer buy makeup on The Q, no matter how good a deal or if they include a brush. Grrr.

My son's wedding is coming up in October, and though I plan on having my makeup done professionally, I wanted to play and try things out. The thought of some heavy-handed makeup artist possibly making me look cakey and overdone petrifies me.

The last time I had my makeup done was at Macy's, I believe it was the Clinique counter or Elizabeth Arden, not sure. But they did a fantastic job, I told them I wanted to look natural for a New Year's Eve party.

And they used earthy shades on my ivory skin, which threw me into using a whole different color scheme.

It was a great experience, I recommend it!
