I strictly use Organic Rosehip Seed Oil on my entire face and around the eyes (yes it's safe for the eye area) at night and it's incredible for your skin. You can read all about it's benefits on line, you will find many articles touting it's wonders. It's not a heavy oil, and it's loaded with natural Vitamin A (retinol) Vitamin E and fatty acids. It also stimulates reproduction of Collagen in the skin, which is why I use it at night when your body and skin are in repair mode. It in fact is so full of Vitamin A that it is orange in color when it comes out of the bottle. I keep mine in my mini beauty fridge, and that is reccomended.

If however you wish to go the traditional route and use a commercial product for your eyes, I suggest Tatcha Ageless Revitalizing Eye Cream. Pricey, but it is superior to any other commercial eye cream I have tried over the years.

Coming on here to ask for help or suggestions since we have so many forum members who are so knowledgeable. I'm in my mid-70s and my undereye area is very crepey. I have used different eye creams and nothing seems to help. Everything just seems to sit on top of my skin and doesn't penetrate. Is this common and should I just chalk this up to aging? The rest of my skin seems to soak up the products I use. Thanks for any help.

It's moisturing but not so much that concealer slides off. At night I use Skinceuticals A.G.E Eye Cream. You can purchase it from derms or med spas or google what online sites carry it. ***It's on the pricey side, but works wonders.

The eye area is important to tighten, so I sometimes use any one of a number of serums by Clinique, which are great, Nivea, and L'Oreal.

I also dab on some Estradiol cream around the eyes twice a week when I use it for the girlie parts. Helps smooth things out and give a refreshed look.

Many women do this according to the internet, and I find it helps give a moisturized look and feel.

In warm weather, I use Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion, a wonderfully moisturizing standby. And I also find that it 'tightens' things up a bit.

@Carolina925 I feel your pain.

I have a couple of suggestions/questions.

I have found that when my eye area is looking heinous, like the crypt keeper, I need to switch my cleanser. Even a cleanser that I have been using or that is stated to be for normal/dry skin. For whatever reason, the weather, homones, etc it may be drying out my eye area.

I use argan oil (I buy a large bottle on A & then refill a smaller pump bottle.) as my makeup remover. It removes all waterproof makeup & soothes my skin. I don't find it adds moisture, but it doesn't leave an oily film & it doesn't break me out.

I have been using First Aid Beauty Pure Skin Face Cleanser. A couple of weeks ago I thought my skin needed a change & I bought La Roche Posay Toleriane Hydrating Facial Cleanser. Also very gentle & non drying.

So, my first suggestion is possibly trying a different cleanser. It can make a huge difference & is much less expensive than trying new eye creams.

This is a weird one, but I offer it to you. I could not figure out the tiny wrinkles under my eyes that really showed up with concealer. It wasn't wrinkles. It was "fur". Tiny little hairs that I assume were caused by the lash serum that I use on my upper lash line! Do you use a lash serum? If you do. Look closely.

For eye cream, I feel like I have tried every recommendation to get moisture in my eye area. My skin is oily, but my eye area is always dehydrated.

I have tried all of the expensive eye creams & some were useless, some were good, none were amazing.

My favorite eye moisturizers are actually quite inexpensive.

Trader Joe's Supremely Hydrating Eye Cream-$6 for .53oz & it is great.

Acure Radically Rejuvenating Eye Cream-$19.99 for 1 oz. You can usually find it on sale.

ELF Holy Hydration-$11 for .53oz I bought this 2 weeks ago at Target because I couldn't get to Trader Joe's for my eye cream & it is shockingly nice!

Sometimes I pat a teeny bit of Aquaphor over my eye cream at night to seal in the moisture & my eye area looks nice & plumped in the morning.

I hope you find something that works great for you.

Try applying products to damp skin b/c moist skin will absorb better than dry skin. Also, tap, don't rub when applying and use only a small amount. Using too much product and then rubbing that into the skin won't usually help, especially if the skin is dry.
