I just decided within the past couple of weeks that it is time to convert from powder blush to cream blush. At the suggestion of one of you lovely ladies, I tried a cream blush UNDER my pressed powder foundation and love the results. The blush I tried was my next door neighbor's and we are opposites in coloring, so I can't use her color as a guide. She also wears a SUPER moisturizing Clarins cream blush (almost the consistency of "mashed lipstick") that seems like it could go oily on me after a couple of hours.

What I am asking is, 1) do any of you know of a nice nude pink or nude rose cream blush?

2) do you know of a cream blush that is a bit lighter in its consistency yet has good staying power?

My best makeup tips and recommendations always come from you savvy ladies here on this forum, I appreciate your help.

Revlon makes a nice one called Photoready in soft peach and pink shades that you can get at your drugstore. I also love Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge that I have in Blushed Rose and Powder Pink and she has many other colors you can try on at a dept store. These are the two brands I use most often.

I'm using one from Ulta called Extreme Wear I believe, I don't remember the exact name of the color though. I like it because it is a nice, soft pink, kind of sheer and not too glaring, yet buildable. It was inexpensive and I really like it. I'm almost out, I will actually use every last scrap of it!

Thanks for all of your suggestions. Perhaps any of you can tell me if the products you have recommended are more in the nude pink/natural family or lean towards a brighter pink.

I looked at some pretty Chanel cream blushes, inquired about the price and was astounded! I like good products as well as the next, but I could never spend that amount on a blush.

llmasqua is my favorite cream blush Quinny. Its not mentioned much here, they have it in several shades. Its highly pigmentated so a little goes a long way. Its not greasy, applies like silk and has a nice soft glow. Sephora sells it.

Yes, it does have excellent staying power, also you can look at the different shade charts on their website.

Bobbi Brown. I think I have 10 different colors. Blushed rose and Pink truffle are darker, but easy to apply with a light hand. Powder Pink is also awesome. I've started wearing these again this winter, and I LOVElovelovelove them!!!!
