Wrinkle Fillers

Has anyone used, with success, wrinkle fillers that are not injectables? Example: Beverly Hills wrinkle filler, IlMakiage, Dermelect, etc. I do not want to go the Botox route but am looking for something to fill in forehead lines, 11’s lines and crow’s feet.

You can fix that, @LuvmyLab. Go to the three dots in the upper right corner of your original post. Click on them and there's a drop down menu where you select "edit". Click on it. The page will reload. Make your correction and click "post" again.

Botox isn't a filler...it paralyzes the muscles that create the wrinkles. I tried several injections over a period of time and found it didn't work for me as the wrinkles were too deep.

I had the injections by the plastic surgeon who originally did my eyes. I don't think they do the 11's but can't remember the reason.

There are a number of fillers in the marketplace....research them to determine what would work best for you and then talk to the dermatologist or plastic surgeon.

@LuvmyLab I guess I'll give you the bad news about any product that fills in wrinkles...nope. Botox is used to keep you from getting a wrinkle in certain areas, but once there fillers are the only option.....or bangs.

I've been thinking the same thing wanting to do something about the 11's forehead lines.

"Wrinkle Fillets" is a cute name for those little silicone crescent thingies you use under the eyes to smooth the lines. GloPro patches.

Some injectors can put botox in the forehead wrinkles and then filler in the wrinkle after the botox settles. it takes a few days for botox to develop or be effective.

Yes. Working with a a highlty recommended, skilled injector in one's area is the best way to achieve best desired results. And not one size fits all. As you said, so many choices/fillers available, why working with a trusted pro is the way to go.

@Icegoddess Yes, Botox is used on the "11's", but that's not a wrinkle. If you were to let it go for many years, it would form a permanent wrinkle that may be smoothed w/ filler.

Botox stops the pronounced 11 lines for sure. It does work. Though the wrinkle is still there, Botox can make it almost not noticeable.

@Icegoddess The first line of defense for getting rid of 11 lines, forehead lines, etc. is Botox. If the OP doesn't want Botox or filler, there not much else that would take care,of the wrinkles (meaning like a product).

@Shanus , I didn't say 11, I said 1. That's the vertical line between the eyes. 11's are on either side of that. My 11's became less noticeable using RLT, but not my 1.

@ icegodess Botox will work on either 11s or 1s. I used to have a 1 between my eyebrows & had Botox injected. After having Botox injected there the 1 was no longer visible.

Unfortunately, I had a Vespa accident & my helmet cracked in two & one of the places effected was the middle of my eyebrows. The scar was deep & nothing short of surgery would fix it, so now I have bangs.
