I'm shocked when I see these very expensive hair dryers. There's a lot of profit to make, that's why there's so many "jumping on the bandwagon".

It only takes me a few minutes to dry my hair, so I don't need it. I do like that it focuses somewhat on curly hair moreso than the Shark and Dyson do. I know a lot of curlies that have lots of thick hair, it can take a LONG time to dry, so something like that might be worth it to them. But, yes, I think they are jumping on the bandwagon. They see people are willing to pay that kind of money for a hair dryer, so they want to cash in too.

My hair is longer now interested buying dryer for different styles have my eyes on Dyson latest version here's the only problem no need for all those attachments wouldn't use them. Does anyone have suggestions for a compact hair dryer that's similar? Dyson has the perfect footprint not oversize. TIA.

Many years ago, I bought a T3 on QVC. I paid nearly $250 for it (probably around 2010). It lasted 10-12 years, and it saved me a lot of time every day drying and styling my hair.

My hair is much shorter now, and I'm retired, so I don't care if it takes 5 minutes or 10 to now dry my hair. I have a Revlon dryer I believe it was under $25.

I still have my T3 from QVC years ago and it's going strong. But I am ready for a change and update so I bought the Shark In-Styler and the Dyson with 5 attachments to see which I like better. So far, I've used the Shark and like it a lot.

My issue is shoulder problems and inability to hold my arms up for a long time. I am looking for a shorter time doing my hair with good results. Looking for ward to trying out the Dyson.

Yesterday told my hair stylist wanted new fresh fun style low maintenance was important but not super short we looked at pictures he spent time showing me what he felt was perfect style. Talk about life changing wow! Love it...bob style so pretty feel younger not sure why?! Dyson keeps calling my name love the small size nothing else of that quality compares the color choices very pretty what to do? Decisions, I'll take a few more days before the sale is over choose the right one. Shark isn't my favorite so that's easy pass.

I also got about that much use out of a T3. I had their straightening iron for about a decade. I keep my hair between the chin and just above shoulder length. Right now, I've been using my Shark for two years.

My stylist told me not to waste money on a Dyson. She used one on and off for a year and decided it didn't suit all her clients, so she switched to an Italian brand (I can't remember the name).

@Icegoddess Don't know if you saw it or are interested, but the Dyson Nural is on sale and it has a fantastic curly hair attachment. I watched video online, and the results were fantastic.

I have one dyson hair product, the Dyson Corrale™ Hair Straightener, which I liked because it can style curly or straight and is cordless. I followed video instructions and the results are the same as the video.

I have tried the older dyson dryer in my hair salon, drying hair in between double process color, and it is super fast. I think this new model has more features.

So taking a hard look at this. I think I need this to protect my hair.

@NYCLatinaMeThanks, but I generally air dry my hair at least somewhat and then it only takes 3 to 5 minutes to finish dryig it with a diffuser.
