Because I'm very tempted to purchase, I just can't decide on a scent. Does the scent linger in either product? Do they smell more the RTMs than the CCs since they don't have the menthol? Why does the lotion come with a loofah too? Not that I'm complaining. I don't think I've ever seen a demo of them. Hmmm maybe I should check that Dec TSV video, maybe there is a demo on there?

I have the lotion in Pom. &Lavender and I like them both, the scent doesn't linger long and I don't smell any menthol in them. I've never used the loofah when I put the lotion on, my thoughts are the lotion would soak up in the loofah and I don't want to waste any that way. I just wish it didn't cost so much, it's hard for me to spend that much money on body lotion but I do like it.

I LOVE the BCC and the lotion is great too.

I have POM, TT, SAM, and CA. I like the smell of POM and CA best for most of my body, but like using TT for it's antiseptic properties in "certain areas" ... just not fond of the TT scent in the BCC it is off to me. The SAM is ALL mint no almond, I mixed it half and half into my TT bottle and love that combo!

They do smell more like the RTMs but not exactly? The scent doesn't linger after a shower, and lotions are fairly mild scented.

No clue why the loofah comes with the lotion, and I don't use it with the BCC either because it uses up too much product. I use exfoliating shower gloves from Walgreens and they work great! I put some BCC in my hand then add water and it froths up just like the CC does in your hair! Leaves your skin soooooooooo soft!

jaxs mom - I tried the lotion first several years ago. I purchased an 8 oz bottle in CA. I didn't try the BCC until I received one in a TSV. The BCC is AhMayZING!!!!!!! It quickly became my HG body cleanser (bye bye Pure Grace). CA is my favorite fragrance in the body products and POM is my second fav. I stock up on both fragrances anytime they are offered as an OTO.

They're good, not great. The body lotion is light and good, but I don't feel like it's really long lasting moisture if you need that. I wanted it mainly for the scent (Sweet Almond Mint), but the scent doesn't last very long. I mixed the oil into it to make the scent last longer, but still wasn't super impressed and have found other body lotions to be more moisturizing and longer lasting. (I just wish I could find one that smelled as good as Sweet Almond Mint and held the scent for hours.)

The body cleanser is good, but I recently learned something I'll pass along. I bought the cleanser because I wanted to use it on my face and not worry about menthol bothering my sensitive skin. I recently went on vacation for 3 weeks and tried an experiment - I used WEN for all my cleansing. I mostly used Pom and Summer Mango Coconut. I had a hand soap that was too drying and remembered that Chaz says he uses WEN seasonals with his Clarisonic, so I used WEN to wash my hands, my face, my hair, my body, and used it to shave and as my leave-in. The menthol never bothered my sensitive skin and the seasonals have skincare benefits that the core formulas don't. You can do it all with one bottle of a WEN seasonal and don't need the body cleanser, which costs quite a bit more, anyway. My face and skin were in great condition after the experiment, no better or worse than using WEN body cleanser on my face and body at home. It's enough for me to make a switch. I left a full bottle of WEN Fall Ginger Pumpkin to use when I visit my parents again next Christmas and if I vacation anywhere else, I'll just take a bottle of WEN and a bottle of moisturizer and be good to go.

Save the money and use regular WEN or seasonal WEN instead of the body cleanser. You can get the lotion, but you may do just as well buying an unscented drugstore lotion or cream and scenting it with some WEN oils.

I have tried the bcc in lavender and Pom. The bcc does not have the menthol smell like the cc's. They clean very well and keep your skin soft. However, I will say the bcc is not as moisturizing as I thought it would be, but better than cleansers that lather. I love the clean scent of the lavender. It is my favorite scent in the bcc and lotion. I also like cucumber aloe in the summer. I have tried the lotions in Sam, fig, Pom, CA, and lavender. The lotion is the best lotion I have ever used. It soaks right into the skin and is not greasy at all. I am like the others in that I don't know why the loofah is included with the lotion. The bcc and lotion is expensive, but I have found that I don't go through it as quickly as the cc's. One 16oz. lotion lasts me about 3 months using it daily. I usually buy a 16 oz. lotion every season. Right now, I am using Sam for winter. It has a pepperminty smell, but not a menthol smell if that makes sense. I like the lotion better than the bcc, but I like them both. The bcc does not lather and sometimes I struggle with getting it distributed over my body. I usually put it on my mesh sponge and add a splash of water to get a semi-froth going. Sometimes I just put it on like lotion and rub it in with my sponge. For me, it is hard to get used to no lather when it comes to body cleansing. Hope this helps.

I started with the POM cleanser and lotion and find them more moisturizing than Philosophy's 3-in-1 and lotion. For the winter I switched to Fig for more moisture and also a warmer scent. I agree with everyone else that the scent doesn't linger unless you use the oil. I used the loofah, the soft side only, for a while, but have switched to a microfiber cloth. While I'm in the shower I put the fig/orange oil all over, then put the lotion on dry skin. Right now I have aqua physical therapy twice a week and that has really dried out my skin and the WEN body cleanser, oil and lotion have really helped.

I have been using either BGT or 613 to cleanse my face for a couple of months now and love how it's normalized my skin and plumped up the crepy areas around my eyes.

I want something light that doesn't linger a long time because my allergies do not like strong scents. Maybe I'll try CA first.

Are you going to make me break my no menthol on the face rule? Darn the eye improvement you posted is compelling. I might have to try the 613 after all. For some reason I don't notice the menthol in the one.

I only use the POM BCC and lotion because I love it so much. I find I really don't need to use the lotion too often since I use the POM oil on wet skin . I thought that would change with winter weather but surprisingly hasn't. I really don't think the scent lingers and when I do get a whiff of it I think it's from the oil. I have been using it solely for close to a year now and really love it. I too used Philosophy for years and I gave away three brand new sets when I started using the BCC. As I have mentioned in other posts I found that when I added the oil even though I used the BCC a few times without it and my skin was soft, the first time I used the oil a large amount of dead skin just fell off around my knee area. I was amazed because my skin felt so soft. It's really great and as others have mentioned a 32 oz. lasts me quite a few months so it's worth it.

Although I only ordered one initially with one ad I upped the quantity on the second shipment. I never want to be without any of my Wen. Lol

My face and skin were in great condition after the experiment, no better or worse than using WEN body cleanser on my face and body at home. . . . Save the money and use regular WEN or seasonal WEN instead of the body cleanser. . . . .

Chynna -- I think you might be a genius, seriously. Thanks so much for both of your really helpful posts!

I've been using both Tea Tree and 613 as facial cleansers and body lotions. Love! The 613 in particular is so thick and creamy--it feels wonderful on winter skin.

I'm definitely going to have to invest in gallons at some point.
