From your answer, I assume if you wear sunscreen, you double-cleanse but if no sunscreen or make-up, you single-cleanse?

@SurferWife - Yes, correct. Also, was watching a Nikki LaRose video yesterday and meant to tell you that she used the BK Beauty 112 brush - remember that was the real small angled brush that we talked about? I said that I didn't like it and it was much smaller than I thought it would be. Nikki LaRose used it to apply bronzer. Of course, I had to get mine out and try it along with the technique she used and it worked great. So maybe I spoke too soon about that brush.......

It's funny you bring up the BK Beauty 112 brush. I still do want to get it. I saw that same Nikki video and liked how she used it. I've also seen some of Lisa's short videos using that brush. I will buy it on their next sale. There are only a few more brushes that are on my wish list & that is one of them. There are so many, but they aren't all necesssary for my few-days-a-week make-up wearing days.

FYI...the three brushes I still want to purchase are the 104 Tapered Powder, 106 Flat foundation & 112 Small angled.

That's what I'm wanting to use it for as well. I like the small brush for more precise placement of blush.

I recommend trying one or two to start with, ones that you will use daily. Then you'll end up getting hooked! They are truly the best make-up brushes I've ever used.

@SurferWife - I use the 106 foundation brush for my foundation and love it for that. Think I also have the 104 but will have to check. All 3 are great brushes.

Yes, but the follow up sometimes changes. My skincare routine is something I really enjoy and consider self-care. Double cleansing is the foundation but then comes the essences, serums, oils and moisturizer, and lastly Tretinoin at bedtime. Only on nights where I'm totally wiped out will I curtail the routine and pare it down to a Nassif pad, Vitamin C, and an oil of choice or moisturizer before I hit the sheets.

I'm not even sure what "Double Cleansing" is?

I have a thick layer of sunscreen on, (I wore a baseball cap, too, when I was outside today washing/waxing both of our trucks).

But I will use a foaming exfoliating face wash in the shower tonight (Suzanne Organics). I let it sit on my face while I just rinse off my body, then gently*scrub* it in. I may apply a second application. My towel is always white and clean after I dry my face, so I'm sure I'm getting all the makeup and sunscreen off.

What is your def of Double Cleansing?

@SurferWife @Thank you! My last trip a few of my older brushes I left in the hotel so I need some new ones! Afterall,it's not color right?...which ones would you recommend? I left my blush and powder brush.

It's not MY definition of double-cleanse, just the standard definition of a double cleanse. A double cleanse involves two cleansers - the first cleanse removes make-up, sunscreen...all that stuff and the second cleanse cleanses the skin.

Typically the first cleanser should be an oil or balm, then the second cleanse with another cleanser.

I recommend researching it further if you're interested in knowing more about it.

There are so many from which to choose. I recommend perusing bkbeauty.com. It really all depends upon the size you prefer. For blush, if you like an angled version then you should try either the 112 (small angled) or the A507 (larger angled brush). I use that one & love it, but I'm also going to buy the 112.

For powder, again it really depends upon the size of brush you prefer. Look at the102, 104 or 108 or the N15.

@JudyL may have other suggestions, too.
