DermApeal question

If you use this product do you cleanse your face before or after or at all? I have had it for about 3 weeks now and use it in the morning in the shower so I just cleanse with the DermAppeal. Seems to leave a very moisturizing film and not sure if this is normal. How to use it not clear on HSN or with product.

I applied to a cleansed face. I also felt the film and didnt like that so I never repurchased it.

I didn't cleanse before or after. Would just use the DermaPeel in the shower and rinsed well. Never felt any kind of film on my face.

When I use it, it is in the evening, and I remove my eye make up first.

I don't remember how I used it, but it was too gritty for me. Don't remember any sort of film. I would use it on my feet if I could ever remember to do so. Can't do it in the shower since my shower is quite small and it would get washed off before I had a chance to scrub. Besides, that wouldn't be too safe. No place to sit either.

One of DermaPeel's first ingredients is baking soda, it may be that which is leaving what feels like a film on the skin.

If you use it on skin that has not been cleansed first, that would be rubbing dirt, debris and makeup further into the skin. Makes no sense not to cleanse first. .

I use this product and like it a lot. I'm not consistent about always washing my face first. Sometimes I do, other times I don't. I do feel a film afterwards and think it's the serum Dmitri has described. It leaves my face feeling really soft.

I'm a BIG Dermapeel fan. I use it on clean skin about every other day. I also use Skinn Age Reset. The combination of the two has done wonders on my skin. I wish, though, that the Dermapeel menthol scent wasn't so strong. I'm careful not to use it near my eyes, but my eyes always end up tingling for a minute or two. Unscented would be better. I mistakenly canceled my auto-ship of the Age Reset and can't reinstate the program. I could kick myself because the TSV was $49.95. Without the TSV, it's like $74.95 or something like that. Grrrrr.
