First Day of Fall Makeup

It was time to break out one of my favorite fall eyeshadow palettes, Bare Minerals Bounce and Blur in Dusk. This is one of my favorites! The colors look great with my hazel eyes. I wore the three lightest ones, with Mally's Glow Starlight liner.

I also wore rms Beauty blush in Bohemian Girl and Apple Spice Lipsense color. I wore a teal dress.

I had a longer day than I thought, and when I got home my eye makeup, despite my allergies, was still on!

This palette is long discontinued, but I'll enjoy it as long as I can!

@beach-mom - Your makeup and dress sound beautiful. Oh do I know and understand about allergies. It's been bad up here in the Bay Area the last few days. Wind is kicking up again so I'll be looking for the tissues.

@beach-mom Sounds like a beautiful look. We're still in the 80's...tee shirt weather, so although I'm craving my fall shadows, I have to wait several weeks.

Thanks for your comments everyone! I do love that palette. I'm not sure how much longer it will last. The lightest color is almost gone. (The picture is one I found online!)

But I will probably be wearing it almost every day!

I love fall makeup. Today I put on a plum sweater I got from qvc. It is the Shawn Killinger one shoulder one side cold shoulder. It is adorable. Then I used the ND retro pallet with RMS hanky panky blush. Plum springs lip gloss by city beauty. Then used the benefit wild plum mascara.

My next fall pallet will be the ND I need a warm pallet. Probably won't get it until NOV. I have 3 of her pallets now. They are so good. I love how they are laid out because they are laid out in quads. Easy to put a eye look together. I bought the yucca pellet first. Then I just kept using points and rewards. I got $30 off the retro. I should be able to get 25 off the I need a warm. The I need a warm and nude will be by next two. Rumor is she will have a full size I need a rose to go along with the mini. I also have the mini crush.

@ccassaday - Thank goodness for points! Thats how I've gotten my two large ND palettes too.

Still summer here. Radio says it's 90 degrees out.

I don't think I have a palette that I consider strictly seasonal.

@Icegoddess - I don't either. Depending on my mood, I'll use my palettes all year long.

I swear by:

Allegra-D (12 hr or 24 hr)

* only allowed 10 days supply

* have to sign for this each time you pick it up (because of the "D" (decongestant) I had no luck with Allergra (without the D)

- The Allergist told me to keep the Cats out of the Bedroom, but that's no gonna happen! NO WAY. (BTW, Im allergic to cats even!)

Allergy shots didnt work on me.

Above 2 products did indeed work on me, more than anything else, after years & years of trying just about everything!

(Im also severly allergic to Mosquito bites, & I have a system for that too. If hubby has that allergy, I can share that info also).

@monicakm Does your husband know what causes his allergies? That could be a start in getting relief.

I don't have fall or summer makeup. I use the same eyeshadows and highlighter all seasons depending on what I wear and plan to do that day.
