Beauty Purchases This Week; 9/12/24

Good morning Beauties! Let us know what you purchased this week and if you've have a chance to try it out. Is it a new-to-you product or a repurchase of a favorite product?

Here's my list:

Perlier - The auto delivery of the Royal Elixir Youth Creator serum arrived. This is the one in the gold chubby bottle. I like this paired with the Pearls of Youth serum. The AD was good for only 1 year so not sure how many more deliveries I'll be getting. When Skip was on last weekend I purchased another Royal Elixir Cleanser since it was still being offered at the discounted price. Love this cleanser and when they have it on sale, I get it. Also ordred the Olivarium Pearl Body cream since it was on sale too.

COSRX 6 Peptide Skin Booster Serum - This was part of the ULTA sale so bought 2 of these one for DD and one for me. Haven't tried this particular CosRx product but have heard lots of good things about it. Will start using it when done with current peptide product.

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray -This was not on sale but combined it in the same order as the CosRx items. Used this years ago and wanted to try it again.

Benefit Blush -This was part of the ULTA sale and I bought Willa. It's a pretty shade and will try it out today. Looks peachy/pink.

Laura Geller - Was having another one of her good sales so ordered 2 kajal eyeliners. One in Antique Bronze and one in Smokey Plum.

Jane Iredale - After watching videos on YT, I finally decided to try her powder foundation. Haven't received it yet.

Good morning Beauties! My Amazon subscriptions were scheduled to arrive last weekend. A few items arrived on Friday but then the rest of them were labeled as delayed and delivery would happen on Monday. Monday nothing happened. I checked again and everything was labeled as " undeliverable". Rather than repack and ship replacements, Amazon started processing refunds. I called CS to investigate. The CSR said it was more than likely that the shipping box was damaged in transit. I wanted the products so I had to sit on the phone with the her and go item by item for 17 products. Some items wouldn't process as a replacement so I had to take the refund and recorder them myself. She also gave me $20 credit for my inconvenience. I thought that was fair because the one time shipments cost more than the subscription so the credit covered that difference. Everything finally made it here.

Here's my list for the week -

Dr. Nassif Detox Pads - took a new jar from my stash. They are a staple for me.

Perlier Golden Almond BiPhase Oil A/S - this week has another new oil for me to try. I chose A/S just in case it’s a hit.

Perlier EDP Rollerballs (Honey Magnolia and Honey Hydrangea) - ordered as bonus buys. Lately perfume purchases have been purse size sprays and rollerballs. They make sense to me - a small investment and not a huge commitment, easy to take on trips.

RMS Beauty Kakadu Luxe Cream - I’ve been using this for about a month, or so, and like it very much. I didn’t really need it yet but I had a credit to spend so I set up a subscription plan. I’ll adjust the shipment intervals once I see how long my current jar lasts.

RMS Beauty Eye Polish (Lunar) - this was the only shade of eye polish that I didn’t have. I had online credit to use so I only paid a couple of bucks for it.

Tweak’d Cleansing Treatment - opened a Jatamansi from my stash.

FOUND - Supersize bottle of Skinn Divine Elixir Luminous Oil - I had this wrapped in aluminum foil and in my fridge. Somehow it was shoved into a back corner on the bottom shelf. Out of sight, out of mind, I guess. I unwrapped it and it’s a brand new bottle. The cellophane neck band was still intact. It was always my favorite oil so I rewrapped it and put it back for now. I have some other Perlier oils on subscription and am still trying to decide about them, if I want to continue using them, or not. Since they’re opened and in use, I’ll stick with them for now but plan to use the bottle of Skinn at some point. I’m interested in trying the RMS oil too.

Pushed out several HSN autoship plan deliveries, most of them into 2025.

@JudyL - The CosRx Peptide Booster is a staple for me for about the last 10 months. I mix it with the Lab Direct peptides.

I caved and purchased the Perricone TSV. It's been awhile since I've used the night cream. What sold me on it was the fact they discussed how to incorporate it with other products into your routine.

For years, I wondered how to use my serums with the day cream considering they always said to apply the Perricone first. Now, they're saying we can use our serum first and other moisturizer on top.😃❤️

@Iwantcoffee That's a fantastic deep conditioner that I used all throughout college- such a blast from the past! I'm going to buy that too

Based on SportyShorty's review I purchased Sexy Hair Healthy Gloss and Glow Rinse. I also purchased Sexy Healthy Moturizing Peach Mask as I needed a deep conditioner/mask. I used the mask this morning and it was OK. I haven't tried the rinse yet.

@ninjawife The Sexy Hair Healthy Gloss and Glow rinse is great! I think that you'll really like it I'm using it once a week from here on out to maintain the results . If you're on the look out for a great conditioner, I recommend Aquage Healing Conditioner or Aquage Silkening Conditioner- my hairstylist uses these on me and I use them at home to keep my wavy hair soft and very moisturized .

@JudyL - as you already know, the eyelights are in a metal tube and are somewhat gel-like, available in multiple colors. The eye polish is thicker, almost solid, but creamy, comes in a pot and is only available in a medium brown, darker brown, and a champagne - all are luminous but not glittery. Ring finger application is much easier with the polish, but still only use a small amount and tap. Build if desired.

I received my samples of the rms skin tint. Really pretty. As long as it wears well I will buy the full size when my doll ten is gone. Reviews with oily skin women have not been good. But I have normal skin. I used the ivory this morning. Tomorrow I will use the cameo. Then decide which shade is best. Got a sample of the buriti bronzer too. Really pretty.

Not really a 'beauty purchase' but I needed some new sun readers. These are full lens readers, not bifocal, and I bought them in a low strength just for driving. I love the lines of the frame and they fit my face perfectly.

@SilleeMee I wear low strength sunglass readers for driving too. Much less tiring on the eyes. I tend to really squint with regular sunglasses. For some reason, I have trouble focusing with regular sunglasses even though I have no trouble driving with no glasses on as long as it's not too bright out.

1. I'm almost out of my miscellar water (Bioderma w/ the pink cap), so ordered from Amazon.

2. My RMS oil is also running low, but will order on the site.

3. Trying to use up what's in my stach and gearing up to see new fall makeup releases.

I like this product a lot, but I'm not sure it's any better than the Loreal version for less than half the price.

@RollTide2008 I use the L'oreal Elvive 8 Second Wonder Water too and they're both great. I'll try and alternate them for 2 weeks to see which wins since they both deliver great results so far .
