Skin care at Sams Club

So my grandaughter's birthday is 9/11 and she will be 12. She wants skincare for her face. While I know it's ridiculous to buy her anything anti-aging and she has beautiful, blemish free skin, I started poking around Sams club to see if they had anything. Well they don't so I will be in walmart tomorrow.

However, Sam's Club now sells Tatcha, LaMer, Charlotte Tilberry, Shiseido and a few other pricey brands. Didn't know that. The items aren't in my store but are available to ship to me or to my store. Guess we will be seeing these lines in Walmart soon! My wallet can't afford these brands so I don't buy so I'm not sure if the prices are good or not.

Hi, @bmorechick ! Interestingly, there was an article in today's Las Vegas Review Journal today about young girls/women going for anti-aging skincare and causing complexion problems because the products are too strong. I didn't read the entire article but apparently it's a trend on Tik Tok, which I also don't use. Sorry, the pic is sideways!

When I was young back before there was fire (LOL), Clinique was the place to start with their cleanser, toner and moisturizer. They often have sales on their website.

@bmorechick google "tween skin care set". Ton of things came up with various price points. Get stuff made for tweens which is pre'teen. Id link my search but we are not allowed to put outside links in posts for IT secure reasons.

My granddaughter same age wanted skincare from Kylie Jenner. It seems kids that age are into the Kardashians. Amazon has it with some sample kits. It's cruelty free and gluten free. I think the prices are reasonable.

My GD 12: Has beautiful skin think her lifestyle has everything to do with that. Healthy eating, exercise, managing stress. We're very close. Frequently, Discuss lifestyle choices. Explained to her recently hormones changing lol be prepared for mood swings in case that happens. OT: she has beautiful full perfect eyebrows. Told her, please never let anyone wax or over pluck her brows.

Yes, I read about young girls thinking they are wrinkling at the age of 12 to 15. Fortunately, we don't place too much emphasis on the beauty potions, makeup, etc. but she should be using proper products to wash and moisturize her skin.

Yes, a healthy lifestyle is definitely part of beautiful skin. She, at 12 is already athletic, participating in track/field in middle school. My daughter is a runner, biker, lifts weights so she's accustomed to that lifestyle. I run, bike and also lift weights so it's in the genes! She will run with me, but I slow her down so it's only when she wants to take a slow jog!!

I got her a great Clinique set for xmas last year for normal skin type. I think she's into the Bubble brand products, so I will be doing some hunting tomorrow after work!
