Agnes RF procedure

Has anyone had experience with having this done? From what I have read, the reviews on removing under eye bags are very good, but reviews on lower face neck tightening are very mixed. The results are supposedly permanent. Not sure of cost, but they say cheaper than a lower face lift. My neck is getting very saggy, no matter what product I use. So just curious if anyone has had personal experience with it. Thank you.

I haven't heard of this procedure--will have to research it tho. I have a great deal of under eye baggage --and was planning on surgery to remove them for my 70th b-day this year--but other things got in the way. Here near Seattle, surgery is under $5000 which I thought was not awful.

Wagirl, You should look up the before, and Afters on the under eye bags. It looks like the Agness RF works really well for those.

I had a 'laser lift' years ago but that was with lasers, not RF. Had my face, eyes and neck done over a period of about a year. Took years off of my appearance. I was almost 50 when I had that done. A lot going on in my life at that time and it took a toll on my appearance so I treated myself to make things look like the way I wanted and not years older than I actually was.

Most skin tightening procedures, like RF and laser, are best for mild to moderate laxity and with not a lot of deep wrinkles. Those procedures can have issues with fat loss and it's permanent. Repeated treatments using RF or laser can leave you needing dermal fillers over time. So it's wise not to have them done very often...every 7 or more years or so to minimize fat loss.

I had RF Microneedling done on my face a couple years ago and I think it really helped. I haven't seen my sisters in a couple of years since the pandemic, and now when I see them (they live in another state), I notice how much tighter and less wrinkled my face is. I also had laser treatment even longer ago, so I have had some procedures. I maintain results with home lasers and NuFace, etc.

@SilleeMee --I don't have many wrinkles or lines around or near my eyes--just those dang bags!! Have had them all my life and they are the puffiest things to this day. I am 70 so this would be a one and done for me---I will certainly ask before I jump into anything.

I know the possibility of having our under eye bags removed is a topic near and dear to us. We've talked about it before. That's why I jumped on this thread hoping this might be a new, easier and less expensive option lol.

You don't know how often I'm thinking that I could've had the bags removed already if I didn't have to spend so much on this dang dental work! I'm still hopeful I can slowly save up and get it. I just pray the price doesn't shoot through the roof by then lol.😃❤️

@cheriere ----well--- in the grander scheme of things-- I have to say that your teeth are more important than eye bags!!! that's what my more practical voice says----until I look in the mirror and my "bagage" looks back at me and laughs!!! I was going to get mine done this year but my DS is getting married next month and my bagage will have to wait----am giving them my "baggage" $$ for a nice honeymoon instead. If my teeth don't fall out---that is!!!

Girl, I'll say a prayer for your dental health! I wouldn't wish this on anyone! I must admit, I've thought of what all I could've got done if I'd just went with dentures instead.❤️

I would love to get something less invasive done since mine are not yet bad. I mostly notice the shadow underneath than the actual bags at this point. Then there's the lower part of my face, mostly everything below my nose and between and including the marionette lines.

What I did was get an appointment for a consultation first to discuss what I wanted done and then the doctor suggested what my options were from there. Consultations around here run around $100. Everyone has different skin and structure so what might be good for me might not be good for someone else.

@cheriere --stupid teeth!!!! My teeth turned to the dark side ever since I had chemo for breast cancer ---no one told me THAT was a thing either--they haven't fallen out but have had more tiny cavities almost every 6 months since. I often wonder about dentures too, instead of implants and whatever else there is--have a few friends in the dental field that scream NOOOO---try to keep what teeth you have!!! Are they crazy?? I don't know, but I have all mine still.

@SilleeMee --yes-- that is what I would do as well. And I think that first consult would be free, where I am. But am sure that is more a basic info appt---the more in depth exam would cost.

If you still have all of them and are only dealing with a few cavities here and there, KEEP THEM! After my aunt went through chemo, she ended up having so many dental problems she went ahead & got dentures.

Bless her heart, they literally started just breaking off. Chemo must really do a number on them.

My other two aunts got those implants that are like magnetic dentures. The dr puts two on top and two on the bottom and that holds them in. But, they have to come out at night for cleaning. Plus, they cost a lot too!

I'm not even guaranteed my implants will not fail either. May the Good Lord Please not allow this, but it's true. If they don't fuse right to the bone or something goes badly wrong infection wise, I guess I'd be out what's already been spent on my top teeth. Plus, I'd be out of top teeth!!! I'd have to get a denture then. They say if something is gonna go wrong it's almost always with the uppers. I guess since they're so close to the sinuses too.

Had I been able to afford it, I'd have had my bottom teeth done at the same time. I still have bottom teeth, just none to chew on lol. The back three on both sides are missing. The dr acted like it would cost just as much to get those implants as my whole bottom teeth. That's why she recommended doing it like this. She said if in the future you don't, you'll have to spend the same amount to get them done anyways.

I go back in the morning for my first post op checkup. I'm praying everything is healing like it should be.🙏🤞❤️

SilleeMee consultations are free. Smart decision on their part lol. My lower face doesn't have deep lines or horrible sagging, but the laxity is getting worse with age despite using Tretinoid, good skin care products, healthy eating, water etc...
