I apply it over moisturizer but under the CC cream or other foundation. So, I think that you are doing it correctly!

It says to apply this primer over moisturizer or on clean skin. I use the It CC cream. Should I apply the primer over or under the CC cream? Not sure if this is considered a moisturizer or a foundation. So far I have been applying the primer to clean skin and then applying the CC cream over it.

Thanks for the reply, Mom2TandK! I think of CC cream as a moisturizer, but I guess an additional moisturizer prior to the primer can't hurt... especially for my dry skin.

Oooh great question!!!!

I just got this in the TSV and I was confused too so I watched the demo and went to the IT cosmetics facebook page... If you're super-dry like me, you can use a moisturizer first then apply the primer with the fan brush...and if you're combo/oily you can use it by itself.

I used it over top of my usual moisturizer and it is awesome--LOVE it!!!! Def need to use the fan brush to apply or you wind up with way too much on.

Just an fyi for anyone who uses the Peter Thomas Roth line--don't use this primer if you use the Laser-Free Moisture Cream/Gel stuff!! The PTR has a built in primer, so you'd be putting primer on top of primer--and will wind up with balls of gunk coming off your face! I knew that would happen but I tested it out this weekend and yep--all this gunky primer junk was balling up and coming off..yuck!
