Jones Road Beauty and Rhode Cosmetics

I saw Jones Road has a new Miracle Balm palette ($32) that has a bronzer, blush, and highlighter, three different palettes available. Rhode has new pocket cream blushes ($24). I have oily skin so I don't think the balms would work for me I heard they are dewy and can be greasy. The blush sticks are beautiful, has anyone tried either of these products?

I looked and looked at her items for weeks. Took the plunge and ordered four products. Disliked all but one.

I also tried BB Jones Road miracle balm and didn’t like it all! Too shiny even though I tried to tone it down.

@monicakm, First, I am thoroughly into R.M.S. products. Purchased Bobbi Brown for years. So disappointed when I tried her Jones Road. Will def be staying with R.M.S. Recently purchased her new perfume. Scarlet Moon. Really like. There are times when you put on a perfume and you really feel good. TRY my friend., Always, Sligo

@sligo @Jordan2 RMS fan here, too and a NO to Jones Road.

When Jones Road first came out, I received a PR package with several Miracle Balms and a few of the newer products soon to be launched. I knew almost immediately that it wasn't for me and I have fairly dry skin. My clients were not fans either.

I love cream products, but his was not only very greasy, but my hair got stuck in it. It never dried down, but kept looking shiny, oily all day. The pencils are only a 3 out 10...quite difficult to find a shade and not creamy enough to use under the eyes. The shadows in a compact are expensive for the small size and I personally don't like opening several compacts to do my makeup. The shadow in a wand style is really sparkly...not for me. The blush sticks were not out, so no opinion there. I have others that I love.

All around not a good review from me.

Then you got one of the "shiny" ones Some are, some aren't. You have to read the descriptions. I LOVE everything I got from them.

I got one of the mini balm kits and disliked all of them.

@Jordan2 I tried the Miracle Balm and didn't like it at all. I have somewhat oily skin, and the balm stayed tacky-feeling on me. The smell was very strong and not at all pleasant!

I recently bought the Jones Road cream foundation. Got an excellent shade match. It is so dewy and radiant or whatever, that it stays sticky on my face. Little to no coverage. So I'm not real sure about purpose of this product. Just a light skin tint?? Would not buy it again.

I was just looking at Jones Rd........none of their products contain spf or are scent free.

Bought the mini sampler balms and tossed them all!

im on drier side and they didn't last on me and the smell was off putting.

Ive used BB products for many years, and although some have changed, they were suppior to JR.

I also didn't like the balm, and hated the smell.
