IS MALLY STILL DOING MAKEUP FOR THE FAMOUS?

I was curious if she is still doing makeup for celebrities or is she now an employee or exckusuve vendor for the Q. Are her products sold outside of the Q?

I know years ago, she (her line disappeared) and I read her company webt into bankruptcy.

@Teddixat I think Mally started her make-up line so she wouldn't have to travel with celebrities, which is what celebrity make-up artists do. Hard to do with kids. There is a nice profile of her in the Jones Road (Bobbi Brown's current make-up line) website if you want to read. Unusual to see a make-up brand promoting another brand. She wrote she met Mally doing NY Fashion Week.

I believe Mally cosmetics is also sold at Nordstrom, Amazon and their own website. I don't remember seeing it at Ulta anymore.

She's an contracted representative for Mally Beauty that she sold several years ago. It was in the details of the sale. The quality of the products has been abysmal since then, imho.

I read years ago that a very popular musical artist asked Mally to travel with her and just be HER makeup artist. The writer seemed to think it was Jennifer Lopez.

She actually did travel with Beyoncé. But that was before she was a mom and before she had her own makeup line. She also did Celine Dion's makeup, as well as many other celebrities.

When she created and owned her makeup line Ulta carried it. They stopped when her company was sold.

So right now we can buy it here and at the Mally website. I don't think she has a lot to do with the development of her line any more, but she is the spokesperson.

Beauty Visions first bought Mally's company when she sold. They ran it for 5 years, I heard from an insider (Ulta) that they did not do Mally justice. Maybe they tried. I think they brought the former head of Victoria's Secret cosmetics to run things.

They sold it to AS Beauty about 3 years ago. AS Beauty also owns Laura Geller and Julep, along with other brands.

Probably not because she's on way too much. I don't think LG does either.
