Another DOLLAR TREE find

Ok so I know many of you aren't into Dollar Tree cosmetics, but well I do grab their blushes and lip products on occasion. Yesterday I had to come back home from the beach (20 min ride) to take care of some stuff and my 11 year old grandaughter wanted me to come pick her up cause she was bored...mama has new baby boy and she has 2 younger brothers. I get it. So she loves a Dollar Tree and that's where I was going anyway.

Grabbed this color blush and it's so pretty. Very light pink and I think it would be beautiful for someone who is really fair skinned, which none of us are. I still like it because it's so very natural. It's lighter than my deeper pink one I got a while back.

I felt that way about the recently-closed 99 Cents Stores. I'm trying to visit the Dollar Tree stores because it's good to have a dollar store nearby. You know what I mean.

Anyway, finding some great little find that is perfect in some way is like finding money. Well, some would think that. lol

@bmorechick Thank you for the suggestion of makeup at Dollar Tree. Don't know why but I've never thought of looking there for makeup and I love shopping there (we have a brand new store very near). I'll probably drop by tomorrow.

@Spacrazy we have several in our immediate area, but the Dollar Tree closest to my house is the best one in town. Clean, well stocked, things always neatly displayed.

Our local CVS drugstore has been carrying more of Elf brand cosmetics, even recently expanding the amount. I noticed Elf offers a good offering of cosmetic products on Amazon. Many have said they are good quality for a little price, so I ordered a few things. I am happy with what I got, but the jars I ordered were so tightly sealed with a clear tape I could not open them myself - DH did. I tried my blue eyeliner pencil today - loved it.

@monicakm Yes you are so right! I think 16 is way too young for driver's license as I am of the opinion that they just don't have the mental maturity to handle a vehicle. I know I DID NOT but we got license anyway! Also, today folks are doing everything BUT driving when behind the wheel. I can't tell you how many times recently I had to swerve to avoid some fool drifting in my lane on a major highway.

I have four other grand babies to spoil (boys) so while they are little I will. And chaos is right! When all five are over our house oh Lordy stuff everywhere - but that's the beauty of Babchi and Dziadks house!!!

I bought a concealer brush at Dollar Tree a year ago and it still works well. The bristles are soft and not falling out. Cleans up with no problem.

@monicakm , I wouldn't want to pay the car insurance bills your daughter must have! Especially after your grandson's truck was totalled.

@bmorechick That's a very pretty blush color! I love drugstore beauty products and affordable makeup brands! Dollar stores are always fun- I can get candy, cleaning supplies, makeup, greeting cards, and more at bargain prices .

Always the best place for Hallmark cards. Even at 1.25/the smaller general cards are still 2/$1.00. I was ALWAYS a big Hallmark fan, but my days of paying $5-8 for a card are over.

I will be looking for this blush.

Yeah, me too. Every time I'd go into a 99 cents store I'd see so many things at a really good price, and I thought to myself that this is one store that DEFINITELY won't ever go out of business.

In this economy, how could they NOT have all the customers they would need?

Have you heard that the former CEO of Big Lots is working with a group to see if they can resuscitate the 99 Cents stores in CA? Fingers crossed!
