Body wash that you feel add moisture to your skin?

Do you have a body wash which you feel you don't really need to moisturize when you get out of the shower? During the summer I hate to use moisturizer, my cloths stick to me, it holds in heat and I hate the feeling. I know a body wash cannot replace a moisturizer however, hoping to find something that does a decent job to at least use during the summer months.

@SandGirl - once I get though what I already have on hand (by summer). I'm planning to go with something from Dove. They have many to choose from, including one that's called "Deep Moisture" which has a lot of positive reviews.

I don't think a body wash can moisturize the skin. I use baby oil while skin is still wet and before drying off. No sticky feeling for me.

I like Korres! It doesn't necessarily replace a moisturizer but my skin feels comfortable, not at all dry.

I have been using Philosophy body washes. At night while laying in bed, I have to scratch various parts of my body that suddenly get itchy. I think it is dry skin. Once I get through all the Philosophy body washes that I have, I will have to try something else.

@SandGirl I have switched from body wash products to Beekman Goat Milk bar soap.
I think it provides a nice amount of moisture to my skin.

I use Dove body wash. It doesn't have the drying parabins and other bad stuff like the other brands.

L'Occitane Almond Shower oil.

It leaves your skin so moisturized, you really don't need a moisturizer after your shower.

I only use body washes ---and have noticed how dry my skin feels--think it's because I use a net poof and that maybe I am being to rough on my skin---need something less abrasive maybe. I end up being very itchy if I don't slather on the body lotions.

The only product I've used that I can feel adds moisture is the Josie Maran Sugar Scrub. It's wonderful!❤️

Perhaps, use it as a hand soap,and go buy some brands to try.

Alba botanic, and native body wash, but you can't go wrong with beekman soap bars.

@SandGirl - I would recommend Korres or Perlier - both sold on HSN or Beekman soap bars which you could get on either QVC or HSN. Have also heard good things about Dove body washes but haven't tried them in years so don't have recent experience with them.

The only thing I have found that works like that for me is homemade soap.

I buy from a couple of local farmers that sell it. I also use Beekman's Honey Oatmeal bar. That's all I have been using for a least 25 yrs. I have been using homemade soap well before Beekman went in business.

I threw out the Perlier Honey body wash I used to use. I noticed when I used it compared to the homemade soap I still felt like it was on my skin after rinsing off. I used my homemade soap to remove the residue.

I think the leftover residue causes the dry skin?

I also take 2 of Andrew Lessman Omega 3 fish oil which I assume has helped.

@ECBG Thanks! Time to refill husband's favorite body washes and my volumizing shampoo! I have used this for at least 20 years. They do have great body care products.
