Naturium sent wrong product?

The first time I ordered the Tranexamic Acid, I bought it from Amazon. It came and looked just as advertised - dropper bottle, orange-ish, a little thick serum. Recently ordered another bottle but from the Naturium website along with other items. The bottle came, the label was the same. However, the bottle is a pump bottle, the serum is almost clear, and a bit thinner. Went and looked on the Naturium website and they show the Tranexamic Acid to look just like the Amazon product. Obviously, they sent me the wrong product even though the label shows it's what I ordered. Naturium messed up my order in another way also - very late in shipping and told me it was because their ordering process wasn't working correctly when I placed my order. They only told me this after I emailed them asking after my order. Will be interesting to see how they handle this issue. Think I'll avoid ordering from their website again and just order from Amazon, unless there is something I want and Amazon doesn't have it.

@Ainhisg - Thank you for letting me know. Think I'll order from Amazon and set it up on their subscription plan. Then I won't have to think about it.

Don't you love it when a company has a tech failure or a flaw in its ordering process, and it acts like it is you?

I was a fan of a certain maker of stripey clothing, and whenever I ordered from them, they'd forget to monogram, or my order would just be stuck, or for some other stupid reason it would have all these shipping delays. The tone from CS was always that it was somehow my fault. Never again.

At another company, I had a monthly auto delivery. They missed two months, before putting a note on their website (not sending an email to their clients) that they were having supply issues. When I emailed him they rudely responded, "Do you want the product or not?" Shockingly, that email was from the owner.

Good customer service has become hard to find.

UPDATE: Heard from Naturium this afternoon and they claim what they sent me is the correct product. They have updated their Tranexamic serum to a pump bottle, they confirmed the formula has not changed and that there can be a change in color at times in this serum and that it is normal. Hmmmm. Well I already ordered another one from Amazon that came in the dropper bottle and was the orangish color. So will use that up first and then revisit the newer one Naturium sent me. Maybe by that time there will be some reviews on their website about the new pump and color change.

@JudyL A little off topic but have you tried their whipped body butter? Can you compare it to JM's body butter? The naturium BB doesn't contain nearly as many oils as JM's does But her gets very very expensive since I have Sahara level dry eczematic body skin. Ironically my complxion is very oily. TIA!!!

@NYCTem77 - I have never tried Naturium's body butter. If you decide to try it, let us know.

Hi ! I used a couple of Naturium products a few years ago . They were okay . ELF Cosmetics were set to accquire Naturium products in August 2023. maybe they changed the formulas ?

@marmarbrooklyn - In their response to me they claimed they didn't change formulas but it sure doesn't look the same to me.
