Hoping for some honest reviews/feedback on Josie Maran's tanning oil. I am on the hunt for the best self-tanner...if such a thing exists😉

I've tried St. Tropez...which is still my go to.

Would love to hear how you like it....all the pros and cons....thanks so much!!!!

I've never tried Josie's but will bet it's very good because I like some of her products a lot. I always used and liked TanTowels which I bought on HSN but that was some time ago. They worked great. The towel exfoliates as it applies the self tanner so it's easier to get an even tan. Plus you can travel with them (put in your carry-on bag for flying).

I loved those tan towels too!❤️

I even found that Estée Lauder makes a tan towel that's very much like them. They're more expensive though.

@grandma petes- I don’t have first-hand experience, but my sister ordered her tanning oil a couple of years ago and did not like it at all. I forget why, though.

I loved her discontinued argon milk self tanner. It wasn't tinted and I prefer no tint. So it's a real delimma for me. LOL. This must be better or why would she discontinue the other-- that's my thought.

Even as I am writing this I am thinking-- should I order? So I would love to hear, too. I just don't like how the tint eventually gets on sheets and clothing.... I don't experience that with the non-tint.

I used this and liked it. When it was not available for a long time I started to use Tan Luxe drops. I like them even better.

I love Josie's tanning oil. I bought it three years ago and wanted to order another one last year but it wasn't available. So I just stretched out what I had left. I'm going to order another one.

I don't use the mitt when I use it. I just put a couple drops in my hand on top of my body lotion and just apply it with my lotion. I've never had any streaks. I do that for about four days or until I get the color I want, and then I just use it whenever it starts to fade.

I have not used Josie Maran's Tanning Oil, but I have been using Tan-Luxe drops for the past 2 years and really like it, requires no mitt, you just add a couple of drops into your favorite body moisterizer and apply just like any lotion, I also use the Tan-Luxe drops for the 'face' as well. It's how many drops you apply that determine how tan you want to be, and there is no tan scent afterwards.
