I'm no fan of the heavy fake eyelashes and cringe when I see ladies wearing them that look like caterpillars and can't open their eyes fully. I wore them in the 70s, when I was young, they just don't appeal to me now that I'm IN my 70s. I rarely even wear mascara unless I'm planning to be out in public and even then it's a toss-up. I do have to wear my eyeliner, however, even if I'm not wearing it "right" according to some things I read. To each his own, I say.
