Leah's eye makeup?

Ok, makeup mavens what has Leah done to make her eyes look hooded and squinty? I noticed it yesterday and thought maybe she tried something new, but she has her eyes looking the same this morning. IMO its not her best look.

Looks like she has a lighter shade of eyeshadow on, which is making her look puffy & tired. IMO

@Imaoldhippie I haven't seen a good closeup, but sometimes a dark liner on top and bottom can "close" the eye and look squinty. OR her eyes are just becoming hooded?

Leah has always had a very pretty face and I think that she still does. To be clear, I am not saying that anyone here is saying otherwise. My belief is that she is simply getting older and that is what is causing the change of her look. Still beautiful.

To me her eyes look puffy, could be due to allergies. My eyes get like that when the pollen is blowing around.

I don't notice any difference, maybe a bit puffy. As I've grown older, I notice some mornings my eyes are puffy when I first get up. Caused by age but also whatever I eat the night before. I think Leah is quite beautiful and am glad that she doesn't look like she has work done every few weeks. Those plastic looks make me cringe.

Leah always so pretty.

I saw her host a wig show and she wore a short styled wig and looked fabulous!

Not a fan of her hair, but it's what she likes.

I can relate with the hooded eyes.....the puffiness that comes with age. I think it's called gravity. But for the most part, Leah wears liner and that tends to make the eyes look smaller and makes the hood look more pronounced.

@CalminHeart .............Yes I agree it is her business, I just did not want to make my eyes (which are hooded & will need a blethroplasty in the future) look even more closed and squinty than they naturally are. I need to make them appear open and wider.

@Winkk .........I agree, along with my hooded eyes and will be needing a blethroplasty in the future and my spring allergies, I do not want to make my eyes appear smaller and squinty, I need the open and wider look.

@Imaoldhippie A hint until you decide to have eye surgery or not, a shadow that's a bit darker than your complexion applied in the crease and half way up to the brow will receed that area. Using a lighter shade on the lid...not pale as a white, but something lighter and complimentary to your eye color will bring the lid forward.

Darker liner on top and/or bottom is not our friend. I prefer doing a navy or charcoal liner dotted in the lashes for definition. Lid space is limited as eyes become hooded. Shadow? Darker shades receed the area and a lighter shade brings that area forward. I also smudge that line with a shadow in that shade.

Also if eyes are deep set, a dark crease shade can exagerate that and looks better IMO with a lighter shade there. For example, Mary the dark haired model has deep set eyes and her crease is much too dark which emphasizes that hollow look.

Leah is an absolutely beautiful woman and seems like such a dear person.

Many of us look differently in the am secondary to how our bodies retain fluid.

Maybe Leah had Chinese food last evening? That always does it for me!

Agree 100%! She has an attractive face but that hair is a mess. I've also seen her in a short wig and it accentuated her facial structure. She looked great. I don't know why she wants to hide behind that hair, but it is obviously what she likes--or she spent a lot of money for it--LOL!!

Leah has had very noticeable bags under her eyes for a long time. Is that what people now refer to as "puffiness"?
