All Day Chemist - Payment Question

I found something on the ADC website that I want to purchase. The website does not accept credit card payments. They take bitcoin, echecks, personal check, or money order. I got to the payment screen and was going to do an echeck. However, I stopped before submitting. When entering the routing and account numbers, you need to enter each one twice. The first gets hidden as dots, but on the confirmation entry the numbers are all there, as clear as day. That's a safety concern.

Has anyone else encountered this? How did you pay for your order.

A money order seems like a rigmarole but probably the safest way to go.

I just tried to put and order thru and credit card is the last option on the list I have used a credit card several times

I've been paying by eCheck for eons. No problems whatsoever. Never had the option to pay by cc.

I ordered for the first time a couple of months ago and I didn't have the option to use a credit card either, although some people here said they did. ??? That would've been my first choice if given the option.

So I used an echeck (the first time I've ever done this) and @SilleeMee talked me through it. It was scary giving out my routing # etc, but everything went through ok.....

First time I ordered, I did an E-check. My Credit Union wouldn't accept it, so I had to do it with my other checking account. I've always paid via E-check except the last time I ordered and that time I was able to use a Credit Card. Either way works.

@JeanLouiseFinch I can't remember if I had to enter the info twice.

It is worrisome the first time you use an eCheck, that's for sure. But eChecks are actually a more secure way of paying than using a cc for a variety of reasons.

I suppose they are but I really can't remember. Routing and account numbers aren't too concerning. It's the EFT (electronic funds transfer) that is secure. That EFT is only payable to the payee. Just like writing a paper check, in other words, but even more secure than a paper check.

I would NEVER order from a company outside the US - especially from India.

You're right, @Kachina624 It just didn't feel right with them showing the way they did.
