For me, there is a WORLD of difference. Every Tweak'd product I have tried has performed the same as harsh supermarket shampoo, and left my hair like straw, dry and brittle. WEN leaves my hair soft, shiny, and silky. My hair is naturally straight, so it doesn't "bounce" like curlier hair would, but it's still got more volume than it used to have before I started using WEN. I will never use any other line of hair care!

Tweak'd lathers on very wet hair, whereas Wen has almost no lather regardless of how much you use. I've used several formulas in the Wen family. It worked ok on my hair, but I never felt like it was my be all end all. 613 and Bambo Green Tea (with Rice) are the most conditioning and moisturizing for my fragile dry kinky hair. If I had to choose one it would be the Bamboo because I like the fresh smell of it. On the other hand, I have seen and felt a real difference in my hair from using Tweak'd. I started with the Amber Vanilla which smells the most like original Ojon. It worked very well on my hair and even before I started taking Andrew Lessman's Healthy Hair, Nails, and Skin, my hairdresser had noticed that my hair was feeling less crispy and developing some body. As Denis brought out more formulas, I switched. I now use his version of Bamboo Green tea and another called Fleur Blanc. I'm glad I purchased these the day the Cleansing Treatment was a TS priced at $39.99 for two. I have four tubs and given the amount it takes to clean and condition my hair, it may take me two years to use up all four.

I tried Wen for a few months and just had no luck! I have very long, thick and curly hair and I could not get any amount to cleanse properly and then rinse fully. My hair was stringy and the product weighed down my curls. I then tried Tweak'd and have been using the Dhatelo Cleansing Treatment for many years. Every 3 weeks or so I use a "regular"shampoo to clarify my scalp, currently using Oribe or Moroccan Oil shampoo for that.

WEN - I used this when my hair was longer and never got long lasting clean hair. You're supposed to use multiple pumps and do a two step process. Day Two I would always have to use a dry shampoo and put it up in a ponytail because it would be dirty/oily right away again.

TWEAK'D CLEANSING TREATMENT - the creamy one is very nice. Apply a teaspoon or so (more for more hair) to dry hair before the shower. Once in the shower add water and emulsify. Leave it on for a little while and rinse. I only need to do this once. When I get out of the shower I will spritz some revitalizing mist before adding the styling cream, then proceed to blow drying and styling. My hair remains clean longer, but I also have the CLEANditioner that I will mist in at the roots to freshen things up.

I'm more of a Tweak'd fan than I am of WeN these days, but one thing I'm not crazy about anymore is the Tweak'd scrub (different from the cleansing treatment). The scrub is gritty and too drying.

I've used both brands and found that Tweak'd works best for me. I do use a pump of WEN along with the Tweak'd condition to add "slip" to my curly hair so I can brush it thru easier as well as a 1/2 pump at the end as a leave in conditioner as I find it adds the moisture I need.

With WEN my main issue with it was when Chaz would say, if it's not working well for you use more. In my mind, I can't get past that the higher quality a product the less should need to use in order to get the results you want. . It seemed like no matter how much I'd use I wasn't getting the results I needed. At one point I was using so much my drains couldn't handle all that was washing down the drain. Tweak'd I use very little and get great results. I can go 12-16 wks between highlights. Luckily my stylist blends the colors well with my natural color so outgrowth isn't so obvious, but the color on the ends is still as fresh as the day it was applied. And you can't beat the Tweak'd deals when they have the shampoo/conditioner on sale.

I will say, no matter the styling product, WEN or Tweak'd they both make my curly hair frizz horribly, even though it's supposed to be the opposite.

Hands down Twead'd works best for me. When I used WEN my hair started to fall out. I have curly, thick hair and Tweak'd works so well. You don't need a lot of product like you do with WEN and your hair is clean, shiny, and full of bounce. WEN left my hair limp, dirty feeling and hard to style.

(All Tweak'd products) and I usually purchase on HSN, better prices and free shipping at times. HTH.

Definitely a Tweak'd fan here. WEN made my hair too stringy and my hair is not stringy normally. I don't like the premise of not having to wash daily so it just doesn't work for me. One thing I learned recently, overhearing another stylist at my salon, is that any volumizing product will dry out the hair because it removes the oils. Never heard that but stopped using the volumizing products and my hair is silky smooth now! Good luck with your decision; we have to take care of our hair.

I've never tried WEN but it comes across as more of a cleansing conditioner. I can't get past the "use more" thing either.

I didn't care for the Tweak'd product that you put on dry hair. It just feels gross and I have trouble getting it to the under layers of my hair. I also often don't like having to wait a few minutes to get in the shower. And I disagree about it lathering, but that probably has to do with my hard water.

I generally use cleansing conditioners, but shampoo once a week with a sulfate-free shampoo, and clarify once a month before I color. Even though I don't use products that cause build-up, hard water causes build-up, thus the need to clarify.

I like some Tweak'd products, just not the cleansing ones. My favorite Ojon product was the Tawaka conditioner, but that ship has sailed. I never actually used the original Ojon product.

I've used products from both. However, they both make a variety of different formulas that can work differently for you, so keep that in mind.

I've also only used the volumizing Tweak'd cleansers and as @Carolina925 mentioned, voluminizing products tend to dry out the hair more (which I accept to try and get more volume). So I really would need to try one of their moisturizing shampoos/conditioners to better compare to WEN.

That being said, I find WEN a bit more moisturizing (again would want to compare a Tweak'd moisturizing formula to see if they were about the same). WEN does take more time and effort to get fully rinsed. Of the Tweak'd I have tried, one of my favorites is the scrub (which I have to use with conditioner). I recently purchased the cleansing treatment masque and do like the simplicity of that, as it's an all in one cleanser/conditioner and it lathers better than the previous formula, but need to use it more to gauge the performance. I have no problem using a small amount on dry hair before I jump in the shower.

I've tried both and definitely prefer Tweak'd for my long, frizzy, dry curls. One noticable difference for me, especially with Tweak's newer lathering cleansing treatments is if you liik at the INCI, the tweak'd cleansing treatments have a lot more sulfate-free cleansing agents than wen cleansing conditioner does. Makes you wonder if those suffering hair loss from Wen cleansing conditioneris due to the fact there are not enough cleansers in there to clear up the hair follicles on the scalp properly? That is just my hypothesis with it.

I irresponsibly neglected to add that my hysband loooooves Wen as well as Tweak'd. He mainly stays with the same versions/scents but I ALWAYS have to buy the gallons for him since he alternasted between the two.

One thing though that may be TMI is when I have a eczema flair up on my body (many patches) I use Wen Tea Tree to cleanse my body. I use the Micheal Todd's Clarissonic dupe to cleanse the areas that don't have patches e.g. armpits and so forth using Wen. He should make a body cleanser and I would def invest in that!

With all this Wen talk, I decided to purchase the 613 cleanser and body treatment duo on AD. If I receive products that were manufactured in 2018 like many of the reviews read, I will be quite upset and will NEVER purchase a WEN product ever. Even for my hubby.

I also purchased the 613 EDP since I just love love love the 613 scent! There used to be a 613 styling cream that I liked but I guess they don't carry it anymore.

The hubby is a Teat Tree and Original person, have the gallons on AD. but I also got him the 32 oz Bamboo Green Tea one since that sounded interesting. The prices for I must say are outragious!
