I don't know why either, but certain RTMs work better for me than others too. Like Hilary said it's probably something to do with the essential oil, and they are mixed with different ingredients in the RTM than the CC so the results are different. Some sort of chemical reaction lol?

RTM question...

OK wenners I am perplexed. I have tried every CC formula as well as the rtms. Now pom is a go to CC for me, however the RTM makes my hair have fly always. Lavender CC is horrible for my hair, makes it a frizzy mess. But the Lab RTM, smoothes the fly always better than other original formulas... Why? Why does a certain cc work but its rtm doesn't or vice versa? Also of the seasonal, the only ones to tame fly always were FAS and SMC....what's up with that? Help me figure this out. Thanks.

Nadjalu - I don't have an answer for you, but posting this so your question doesn't get lost under the old bumped up posts.

Hope someone can help you.
The only thing I can think of is maybe your hair just likes certain essential oils or extracts better than others. Most of the RTM's have the same base, but the oils and extracts can be different. I know this doesn't really help, but it the only answer I can think of to tell you. I hope you can get a better answer.

Thanks...but aren't the oils in the cc formulas too? That's what has me confused.
