@I am still oxox I used to do a facial steam with a product called "Swiss Kriss"

it comes in a tablet or a flake form. You want to use the flakes, It's a herbal mixture that you put into the water.

There's peppermint in it that is very refreshing. And his skin will look great too☺️!

My sinuses always felt renewed after I would do this. Malibu

You name it I tried everything for mine. My doctor told me to use Sovereign Silver nasal spray. It's the only thing I have found that helps.

It also helped DH. The pollen around here is horrible. DH was outside pulling weeds. Now his nose is stopped up or running, his eyes are all red & running. He keeps coughing & sneezing.

DH said the weather guy said the Pollen was off the charts.

@I am still oxox My ENT actually recommended I do that for my chronic sinus infections. Of course, I was using the medications prescribed for me, but the steam was very helpful in promoting drainage and comfort. I still do it.

He might consider nasal rinsing. It's inexpensive and effective. I had nasal polyps removed a few years ago. At first, following my surgery, my ENT had me rinsing several times a day. Now it's just twice daily, first thing in the AM and right before bed. I use a NeilMed bottle with the saline packets and have a prescription steroid to add to it, from a compounding pharmacy. If your husband decides to try nasal rinsing be sure he never uses tap water. Either buy distilled or boil and cool down your own. Replace the bottle every three months.

I suffer from allergies all year long and use Flonase - the generic prescription one is much cheaper than the over the counter name brand. Had sinus surgery years ago and one of the things the ENT had me do was rinse my sinuses after surgery. I may do that again. Some great suggestions here too.

@monicakm i used them under the care of a doctor i never self dose. I have asthma and severe allergies that are controlled by my meds

I have used the Navage system for years as I have allergies. My doctor suggested it about 7 years ago and it really helps. The neti pot works as well, but I opted for the Navage because it’s so easy & fast. Always use distilled water as I’m sure you know with either the neti pot or the Navage. Good luck! 😊

I'm in VA, and the pollen is already driving us bonkers too - Our weather guy said "Pollen/Allergy Season" has started earlier and earlier the last few years.

@JeanLouiseFinch my ENT told me to use this sinus rinse also. In the beginning I was also subscribed a steroid to add to the saline mixture, now I just use the saline mixture 2x a day. it really helps clear my nasal passage and allows me to breathe and sleep at night. It has been a life saver. I use distilled water that I heat up for 30-45 secs. If the water is not warm it burns whne it goes up in my nose.
