Received email from HSN re SKINN Cleanser AS

Just received an email from HSN that my AM/PM cleanser duo that is on AS is being discontinued once they sell out of current inventory. Oh well, guess I'll be moving on to something else. Was thinking of moving on to other products anyway because of the cost of SKINN products.

Anyone else receive an email like this re SKINN products?

That's too bad, @JudyL. I know you've liked using this kit. Earlier this morning, I heard Dimitri say he couldn't do the big bottles as a TS this visit due to ingredient prices, but he is bringing them as a Weekly Deal Drop in April. Not sure if they will be the triple size bottles or something smaller. I haven't received any emails about any Skinn A/S plans yet, but I'm wondering about the DWP Creme Reverse Eye Cream. I have the duo on A/S, but on HSN it's on clearance.

"Another one bites the dust " have it on auto delivery guess I will be getting an email telling me.Just recently got a email telling me an auto delivery that I had for Beekman Orange Blossom spray and body cream for my daughter was being discontinued. Think sometimes when they discontinue an item it is because product prices were lower and over time everything is rising so guess these shopping channels just seem to end the auto deliveries.

Will be honest was thinking of ending the Skinn AM/PM Cleanser, they just made it easier now, as daughter has been telling me about a Gleanser (yes a G) that she has been using, it was developed by a female dermatologist, price reasonable and she has a YouTube and comments have been good.

@JeanLouiseFinch - The ironic thing is as I've been thinking of discontinuing the AS on the DWP products, the one thing that I wasn't going to give up was the cleansers and the Dermapeel scrub. Out of all of Dimitri's products, the cleansers and the scrub have done the most for me. I'm taking this as confirmation that it's time for me to move on from SKINN products - even though I like them and think they are quality products - the cost now is not what I'm willing to pay.

Edited to add: Noticed on HSN's website when I checked the AS for the cleansers, that it says the next shipment is March 23. Think I will wait and see if that one goes through. I already have one set as a back-up so then I'd have two and at least I'd have the cleansers for while.

I only did auto ship once on the 300ct Beekman wipes. I canceled thr AS right away but every year at the same time I get an email that my order is processing! No!

I barely catch it before it ships no thanks to hsn.

I got a similar email for a Korres AS. However, since they mentioned "sell out of current inventory" I tried to move my shipment earlier to get 1 more unit the very same day I recieved the email. But the Autoship was canceled the very next day. So check your AS manager, it may have already been canceled or will be canceled soon. You may not get that next shipment.

@FLGators - just went and checked again on HSN's website and my cleansers have already been cancelled. Oh well.

@JudyL I received the same email this morning for my AM/PM cleanser set. I checked my A/D and it had already been canceled. I have Dermappeal on A/D, too, but that is still active.

@willdob3 - I'm really disappointed also. These cleansers along with Dermapeel have made such a difference in my skin. I have one set that I just opened and one that is in my stash. Not sure what I'll do once they are gone. I would imagine that SKINN will probably do smaller packaging but at the same price or slightly higher. Not sure I will purchase if that's the case.

@JudyL and others. I also got the email and tried to change the ship date to today, but it already cancelled. I'm sure the auto ship ended because the price went way up. I was on the $39 auto ship for 2 12oz bottles. Today "on sale" they have 2 4oz bottles for $32. I still have some in reseve but I'll have to find a new cleanser in a few months.

This stinks. I received it and wasn't able to put in another order. It was canceled. Sorry D but that's just not a good way to keep a customer. Not that he cares.

@CorrTor - the last couple times D has been on-air, he has mentioned that the cost of making the cleansers has skyrocketed but I at least thought they would honor those already on the AS program. Guess not. Like you, in a few months when my current stash is gone, I will have to find another cleanser.

So sorry for all of you with this cleanser disappointment. I'm not saying the Skinn cleansers aren't good, because they are. I used them for a long time, but eventually decided they may be nice but they get rinsed away so they aren't providing any real skincare per se so they aren't really necessary. There are many gentle and affordable cleansers out there. You'll find something else.

I think that email is their standard stock response to autoship cancellations. They want to lay it out gently? I was so disappointed I couldn't get 1 more of the Korres product in the holiday scent. Oh, well....there is always something else that comes along.

I liked his cleansers when he was at shopHq cause they were priced right & good quality. I only snag something from Skinn on HSN if it is a really good deal.

As a matter of principle, I do not purchase overly marked up skincare. Most ingredients are imported from overseas eventhough the products are made in the USA. No reason for them to mark it up as much even with inflation & all. There are plenty of good cleansers out there, I hope you find something good.

Well @JeanLouiseFinch - I did it. Finally decided to quit talking to myself about it and just do it. So this morning, I cancelled the DWP Serum, Eye Cream, and Moisturizer auto-ships. The serum was on AS from the SKINN website and they do not make it easy to cancel! LOL The products are good and I like them and think that's what made this decision so hard but in the long run, cost-wise, they just aren't for me anymore. Have been doing some research so have other products in mind so we'll see what happens.

Me too, @JudyL , but not everything. I d/c'd one Perlier plan (Black Rice face HA gel and Eye Serum kit) and two Skinn plans (the DWP Age Reset Eye Serum Duo and DWP Creme Reverse Eye Cream Duo). I still have a Black Rice Eye Flash Effect Duo in place and I can't/won't let go of some of my Skinn because I was fortunate enough to get the plans on excellent pricing so it makes sense to stay rather than maybe paying more for something else. I'm OK with letting these go. I've been using a snail peptide eye cream from CosRx and like it. The best part is that it's only $16 on Amazon. I'm anxious to try the Lab Direct peptide serum I bought but haven't opened yet. My plan is to tap it around the eye and put the snail cream over it. 🤞

@JeanLouiseFinch - I kept my Dermapeel AS and my Manuka honey AS. Also, kept my Perlier AS for the Eye Flash Effect duo and the Youth Creator - in the gold bottle. I'm going back to using Naturium and Timeless for different products. I was happy with them before starting SKINN and they are much more budget friendly for me. Time will tell if I'll keep up with the other skin care AS.
