Tartes tube mascara report

I did buy this when it was on the beauty shows last week and got it already!!! I tried it out yesterday and it is a good one!! I have used and liked tube mascara some 20 years ago so am experienced with it. My lashes are wonky at best----some single lashes go sideways and crossing in front/back of other lashes--and short ones along side of longer ones and all on one eye !!! Had chemo 11 years ago ----and eye lashes didn't come back normal. But this mascara was able to coat each lash and then build up nicely to at least even them out. Looked pretty nice without the spider leg looks of the other mascaras I have tried. Taking it off was easy too, just soaked my cloth in hot water and put it on my eyes to soften the stuff for a few seconds and off they came--no tubes with lashes inside. A good purchase for me, I think.

I have tried other tube mascaras, I think there is another post about this here, but for me, they didn't work on my intentisvely weird lashes as well as Tartes seems to do. In fact I must have at least 3 of the cheaper ones right now. For me the cost is not a big deal if it works better for me.

I have thin, straight, short lashes. Does it lenghten, thicken and keep the curl as well....haha. I need it all!

I always think that the models they show have some makeup on their eyelashes in the before side to make it appear they have short sparse eyelashes. As I really do have short straight eyelashes I am wondering if this mascara is all that or not.

@SaveTheTurtles --not quite sure I understand what you are saying about the models--but I do think that a coat of regular mascara as a base and then this tube mascara over top, may be a thing for me to try, as my lashes are trash as I mentioned---just wonder how easy it would be to remove all that without pulling out lashes. I am gong to try that I think--and will report back. I am thrilled that my stupid lashes looked as good as they do with this stuff tho.

I don't wear black mascara that often but the pictures make me want to buy this lol.

@wagirl Just wore my Tarte tubing mascara for the first time today and I love it! I was able to achieve in one coat what would have taken 2-3 plus curling! It lengthens and curls with no flakes. Removes like a dream too! I had no lashes fall out whatsoever. Easiest to remove mascara I've ever used! 😃❤️

I must be the only one that returned it. For me, it clumped and smushed my lashes. I liked the first version of this type, but the new one was not for me. I'm probably in the minority though.

SO APPRECIATE THE REVIEWS ON THIS.

HAD USED TRISH MCEVOY'S TUBING MASCARA IN THE PAST AND LIKED IT ALOT.

GOING TO GIVE THIS A TRY TOO!!!
