I have recently seen this foundation (Il Makiage) advertised on line it looks nice but am wondering if anyone has tried it...if so what do you think?

I have and the color match quiz they have actually worked for me. I like the foundation but use it in the colder months. I use something lighter in the summer like a cc cream or tinted moisturizer.

I wonder why? They aren't a new company. Maybe they've introduced a new formula.

Remember I've been talking about my friend who's just now asking about and trying foundations? She ordered that makeup unbeknownst to me. She wore it to work one day and I asked her about it. It was definitely full coverage....very mask-like on her. But the color match was ok. But it was flat, matte. Didn't do a thing for her. That's when I suggested other options. She sent it back. I hope she's not stuck with an uncredited refund. You know how ads like to get you to sign up for auto deliveries 😕

@Mom2Dogs I've seen ads pop up on Pinterest and YT, but know nothing about it. I'm not sure it's available in stores.

This brand is not new. I used it on clients back in the mid 70's. It was sold exclusively in high end stores and beauty shops.

I did skin care....facials, massage and make-up. This was the only brand of make-up we used.

It was good stuff back then. I haven't used it for ages, but never had any complaints about it. I am sure their items are different now that they are main streamed.

My Facebook account is full of ads for this company. I use powder foundation and the application of this makes it look like they use loads of product. Guess that much would cover any and everything. I was interested when I saw Clinton Kelly hawking it but guess if you get paid for positive reviews you can agree to anything. It just looks like that much product wouldn't allow my skin to breathe.

@Shanus When I did a search, I saw a few online sites - no actual store, Ebay sells it as well. Finding a good match is always an issue.

I think you're probably seeing them because it looks like they're releasing more new products.

I forgot how I heard about them--I think that it might have been through a freebie website--but I ended up trying a new moisturizer that they were testing on a trial and were possibly releasing, and the moisturizer was really great.

I ended up buying it after awhile and now have it in my stash and it will be the next product that I use after I finish my Olay that I'm currently using.

I didn't have any problems using their website. I didn't sign up for their 14 day trial before purchase though, for any other product.

For participating in their trial, I received a gift certificate that I used for the moisturizer, although the certificate could be used on anything on their website.

So, my experiences with them have been positive.

I have tried it and it is a very good foundation. I wold say it is medium coverage, however you can keep building for full coverage-I don't need full coverage, so one application is fine for me.

The match for me was perfection! It blended right into my skin and made me look flawless, but not like I was wearing foundation.

I didn't try their sample either, I took their quiz and the match was spot on for me....My sister in law also uses their products and loves them. No problems ordering either..... I will receive from time to time coupons for 15.00 off, etc......

I have only ever used the foundation, but my sister in law uses their brushes and blush and lippies and loves it all! So my experience has been very positive!

I ordered the wrong color and Makiage sent a replacement, no questions asked. I find that using their primer iis essential for a satin, long-lasting finish that is flattering and comfortable.

I just tried it this week on a 7 day free trial period. I don't care for it. It's a little too dry and mat looking on my face. I sent in a request to return it and it was very easy. I won't be charged and they told me to keep the bottle. Excellent customer service!
